Went to reserve a room and the price jumped to ridiculous for the dates I wanted but not until I went to make the reservation. I am in the loyalty program and have never had this happen before

I had every intention of giving this hotel a 1-star review, which I almost never do. But the front desk staff really came through! The first room I stayed in was probably the second worst room I had ever stayed at. The bathroom smelled mildew-y, the shower was slightly broken, they had lotion in the shower instead of conditioner, which was wild because there was also lotion on the bathroom sink, several people kept constantly yelling in the hallways and other rooms and the walls were so thin that you could hear EVERYTHING and I couldn't sleep.
I was very apprehensive, as I went down to the desk to make a noise complaint, as I almost never do anything like that, but the staff member was so incredibly kind and understanding! He instantly put me up in a new room, as it was still outside of quiet hours so he couldn't do anything about the noise complaint. The second room was so much better all around, and even had conditioner in the shower! And the neighboring rooms were much quieter so I could get to sleep early like I needed to! Biggest thank you to that amazing staff member!

My friend and I stayed on labor day weekend 2025. We had a pretty good stay, the pool was down for maintenance issues, but we were allowed to go next door and use that pool. No microwave in the room sadly, but one in the common area downstairs. My biggest issue was the parking. The spaces were very tight, and it was hard to park in a way where you didn't hit someone else's car opening your door. Really good location though, right off the highway. It was very reasonable for a 3 night, 4 day stay with 2 queen beds. We drove from Michigan, and it was pretty easy to find.
