This was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. I’m at Hilton honors member and I’m thinking about deleting my I was afraid to crawl into the bed after what I saw in the bathroom. Mold and rust in the shower, dirty shower, pans, hair, and all sorts of stuff on the floor. Shaving stubble by the sink.pics if you want them. Just don’t know where to add them here.

As a person who has spent almost 300 days in hotels this year (176) of them at Hilton properties I have to say the best part of this hotel was checking out. I had booked to be here 5 days and had to shorten that to 2 because of the way this hotel operates. For the most part the staff seemed friendly except the lady I spoke to when I actually got to the hotel and settled in. She seemed annoyed when I asked questions about the internet. I also asked about using their water outside because I use water for my job and the manager told her that it would cost us $50 extra for 30 gallons. The rooms were dated. The internet was poor and that’s an overstatement. When I went to watch tv I couldn’t get the tv channels to work so to save myself the embarrassment of asking the front desk lady for help again I used my laptop. I couldn’t receive my packages from Amazon because in order to do that I would have had to get their PO Box before I ordered them. Do yourself a favor and avoid this hotel like the plague.

Decor upon entry was warm and welcoming. Holiday decor was a nice touch. Check in was easy , Staff was very attentive and polite. Although I have frequented the Hilton brand in the past, this is a first for Double Tree. It was suggested to me by another hotel brand staff due to them being booked. Well worth the drive! The Walnut Cookies offered at check in were delicious. Although I changed rooms a couple of times at check in, issues would more than likely not be one for a typical traveler. Front desk and housekeeping were very accommodating for my preferences and complaints. The room had a strong but pleasant smell. I later discovered the smell of was similar to that of the toiletries. Smells are a plus for me when entering any establishment. Wasn’t sure about the buffet style for breakfast, but was pleasantly surprised. The food was well prepared and set up hygienic. Chaffing dishes were individual and had let down tops. Each one with its own spoon or tongs. I was asked several times by staff if condiments were needed. I will be recommending and staying in the future. Wish I would have gotten pictures of the space to provide. Hope the review was helpful!

As a Diamond member, I used points to stay here and was put in a disgustingly run down filty room. Shower floor was black, open used soap in the dish, and the metal rim of shower was corroded and moldy. There was fake wood vaneer missing in huge chunks on the bathroom door...and so much more that was foul. And I was directly over the entrance drive so had to listen to cars and people the whole time I was in the room.
I assume they gave me that room because I was using points.
Just filthy, and am embarrassed for the owner.
