    I live in Ohio. I had a death in the family, and had to drive to Chicago on Sunday the 28th. While I was driving there, my cousin texted me the hotel that the family was staying in. I went on Expedia, and booked the hotel. Obviously I was going to be there in 3-4 hours, so I didnt choose the extra fee for free cancelation. My mistake, Expedia put up a date of Jan 11, not Jan 1st, and I didnt see that when I booked it. I got there, and obviously they didnt have my reservation, but I immediately bought a room(#338) and figured Id sort it out next morning because it was late. Next morning I spoke with Maggie, who was very nice and said because I did stay there, just not the correct date, they would definitely refund my charge on Expedia but wasnt sure how it worked. I went on Expedia, asked for a cancelation, waited 72 hours, and they denied it. Not sure who they talked to, how they came to this decision( I sent a smaller version of this), but Hampton got their money(actually more than Expedia charged), and now they are getting my $110 for a room on the 11th I will not be able to cancel as well. Edit Assistant General Manager messaged me 2 hours ago and was able to effectively resolve this for me. I did get a refund for the unused day. I really appreciate the quick response and apologize for having to go this route, but thank you so much for handling this for me. The front desk woman was Maggie, she was very nice and tried to help, but wasnt sure how to go about it.

    I’m severely disappointed in the service provided at this hotel. They did not have our room ready at our check in time and made us wait for more than 30 minutes. We were late to the wedding we were invited to because they couldn’t get us in on time. The staff members were not helpful what so ever. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody.

    The room was not ready at check-in, and I was charged extra for parking. The staff was neither helpful nor polite. I would not stay here again.

    I recently stayed with yall this past week. I have stayed many times in the past. I prepaid my stay back in August. Today when I checked out, I see i was charged to park in the garage. This location has no other option for parking and I wasnt informed there was a fee to park. I have never had to pay before. No mention of Paid parking on your amenities list either Little extra charges like this is reason to find another hotel in the future.

    Clean rooms. The pillows are terrible. Checkout is at 11am. We had the cleaning service bother us from 9:30am trying to get us out of the room. They knocked 4 total times between 9:30 and 10:30. Then at 10:50 we received a call, we didn’t answer it because we were walking out of the room at that time, but assume it’s asking us to check out. Stop bothering people before it’s even time to be out of the hotel. We did not leave late, I get if we were still in the room past 11, that would be an issue. But we left on time. Cleaning service almost walked in on me naked after my shower. This is ridiculous.
