Sorry, but I can't recommend this hotel.
Our extended family had an overnight stay recently and when we opened the door to our room it was quite hot and stuffy. The thermostat read 76* or 77*. Not a big deal, I just turned down the temperature to 66* and the A/C immediately starting blowing cool air...
We then settled in and changed into our wedding clothes and headed out for the day. When we returned later that evening after a full day of attending a wedding ceremony and the reception etc. we got a nasty surprise !
The room temperature was back up to 76* and the room was hot and very uncomfortable yet again...
It turns out that after paying for your room, you are not allowed to set AND control the thermostat. I was told the room will "sense" whether or not it is occupied and then shut off the ventilation !
I was told it was "corporate policy" to turn off ventilation in rooms that are actually paid for !
Let that fact sink in...
Also, our room had a very annoying buzzer sound that would go off for a second or two every few minutes. I was unable to track down it's source and don't know what purpose it was serving.
Finally, our room was very clean and prepped for occupancy, so I tip my hat to housekeeping for that.

Very clean, comfortable rooms/bed. Quiet environment, not alot of street noise at all. All guests were respectful of others. Decent area with many options for food and between many towns to drive to.

If you’re looking for a comfortable stay in Minooka, this is a good option. The location is convenient, with several restaurants, gas stations, a dollar store, and a liquor store all within walking distance. The hotel is slightly above basic, and I’ve stayed here multiple times for business travel. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.
The location is safe as far as I can tell. There’s plenty of parking in a well lit lot. I haven’t seen or experienced any challenges.
if you are passing through a good place to rest.
