- CCCarolinaNov 12, 20255.0We had the opportunity to stay in the McHenry Hampton Inn on October 29th and 30th, on our annual trip thru the midwest. Leland checked us into the hotel...a gentleman in every way, kind, polite and took time to answer our questions and select a room convenient to access and exit for our 2 pets. The room was clean, well maintained, complete with amenities, plentiful towels, coffee and condiments. We noticed the following morning a gentleman moving room to room changing HVAC filters, checking them off on his clipboard as he completed his work and that evening upon our return to the hotel there were wet paint signs on many of the doors where entrance doors had been freshly painted. Lastly, two man were cleaning carpet spots in the hallway and washing doors leaading to the staircases. Every guest would appreciate the attention to detail and the importance of maintaining this multi-million dollar property. As a retired hotel general manager I was also impressed by Steven Kroll, the general manager and his 'hands-on' approach to managing the property and his co-workers. We will return next October.

- JPJENNIFER PHILPOTSep 30, 20255.0We came in this weekend for the memorial service of my uncle. The front desk manager Bob was so awesome. He was friendly, joked with us and made us feel so welcome. We will definitely be coming back to that hotel if we are ever back in McHenry for anything. The rest of the hotel was good. Pool was warmer and clean, continental breakfast was fine and lobby was good size and very nice. But I will emphasize employees like Bob is what made our stay way more enjoyable! Thank you Bob and keep being so awesome and friendly!
