My rate wasn't adjusted to reflect this and my room was charged for snacks because we had nothing to eat. Food was about 4 miles from hotel and appeared pretty vacant. My kids enjoyed the pool all to themselves. A lot of shady characters otherwise. No smart TVs so no streaming apps or USB ports except in 1 alsrm clock.

I figured since my daughter would only have cereal that I'd have a yogurt n such, basically split a continental breakfast. I go to pay my tab, I see my daughters cereal was marked up as $8 "kids meal" a separate charge from the "continental breakfast". To the HGI breakfast hostess lady, was that necessary? Aside from this breakfast experience, the other staff and bartender are very friendly and attentive, rooms are very clean as is the indoor pool my daughter enjoys. We stay here often and will continue to do so, but a bowl of cereal might have to be reconsidered here moving forward.

- ARA ROct 31, 20252.0LOUD. This has to be the loudest hotel I have ever stayed at. The freeway noise is unbearable. Rooms are clean. Staff is friendly. Bar staff is friendly but drinks are poor. Too LOUD. I have stayed at airport hotels with rooms facing the runway that were quieter. And it doesn’t stop - all day - all night. We still have one more night left but I may actually eat the cost and find somewhere else to stay.
