They have Crabtree and Evelyn soaps, shampoos and lotions! I was so surprised and pleased. The rooms were very clean. Their cleaning crew did an awesome job. Parking is not free. You pay 18 bucks at the garage or 24 at the front desk. Its pretty much in the middle of everything in Downtown Evanston, so its a great location. We came in the dead of winter and still were able to walk around to where we needed to go.

I paid for my room on expedia, but I was charged for the room and incidents. After I made the front desk aware of their mistake, they told me there was nothing they could do and I have to wait until I check out to receive the extra $100. Also, the room sink backed up immediately.

A wonderful experience from the moment I arrived. The check-in process was quick, and the reception team was very welcoming. The hotel’s design is modern and elegant, making the whole place feel luxurious. I enjoyed every minute of my stay

As a business owner. I never want to leave a review like this. But here goes. I wouldn’t stay here again if someone paid me. We stayed for 5 days. They refused to clean our room. We had to keep asking. A family of 4 with 2 little ones. Even when they said they would they didn’t. Except for the night they showed up at bedtime 9:00 wanting to clean. After me asking them first thing in the morning when we were leaving for the day. That was interesting. I understand they don’t clean every day like they used to. But 5 days and only 1 “light” cleaning? Very poorly run. The manager Aneesah was rude, unwilling to help and argumentative telling me they cleaned it. Calling me a liar I guess. Very difficult to deal with. Stay somewhere else. If you do go make sure they do what they say they’re going to do. You will have to stay on them, and be ready for n argument. That is if you happen to finally see someone at the front desk. We would have been better off at a $50 motel. Atleast I’d know what to expect. Spend your time and money on people that want you to be there and take pride in their work. Ps. I was trying to avoid writing this review so I called up there to talk to the general manager and left message. Never got a response. Not surprised.

If you’re a family traveling to visit loved ones, please read this first. We booked a room at the Hilton Garden Inn, and when a family member generously offered to host us just one block away, we tried to cancel. We were only one day past the cancellation window. Expedia went above and beyond and even reached out to the hotel for us—but the hotel refused to waive the $200 fee. For a place that relies heavily on families and community travelers, it was disappointing to see absolutely no flexibility or support. A simple one-time courtesy would have made all the difference, but instead we were met with rigid policy over basic goodwill. We appreciate Expedia’s efforts, but sadly cannot say the same for this hotel. If community care and hospitality matter to you, consider this when booking.
