So my husband and I have been traveling over the country. We were tired so we booked this hotel online. Location is great. It's a beautiful hotel but what made it amazing was The smiling faces we walked into when we were so tired!!! My name is Billie Jean And I love that PYT!!
If anybody has the blessing to meet this beautiful woman that's going to smile and help you out. Her name is Allesia And our new buddy Alex. He's right behind. Giving you smiles too backing her up. Just makes you feel like you just came home!

Absolutely excellent breakfast here. Chefs Albert and Mark were phenomenal with the made-to-order waffles and omelets. My omelet was a great way to begin the day. And the supporting staff, like Barb and others, were so nice and friendly. If you have to be in East Peoria, this is the hotel to stay at.

We stayed here in October 2025 for 1 night and were very happy with our stay. Our stay this weekend was wonderful. We were in town for a funeral and were able to get early check in to allow time to get ready for services. The breakfast is what really sets this place apart. Nate in the breakfast was very friendly, helpful, and kind. Albert was cooking omelets to order and he was so incredibly kind and the omelets were delicious.

Pool is cold, they finally cleaned out room after several Request. I have been a Hilton member for many years and I would say tbis has been the worst location ever. The staff has attempted to make up for the horrible experience which I experience. However the experience continues since we are here for a week. This is a constant job to deliver the minimal expectations from a hotel. Good luck and expect your stay to be a full time job.

My family and I traveled to central Illinois for Christmas to visit family and stayed at the Embassy Suites by Hilton East Peoria Riverfront. As a Hilton Honors member, this was an absolutely terrible use of points.
The only redeeming quality of this property is the staff — everyone we encountered was kind, professional, and apologetic. Even they openly acknowledged that the hotel is in desperate need of renovation.
The property itself is extremely dated and frankly disgusting. The room furniture was old and visibly worn, with stained and soiled carpets. The bathroom was unacceptable: the shower leaked, and the toilet looked as though it had not been properly cleaned in months (photos attached). When I showed the condition of the bathroom to housekeeping, even the housekeeper appeared visibly disgusted.
While staff apologized, no one offered to move us to another room or refund any of the points used for our stay. That lack of resolution only compounded the poor experience.
The only noticeable updates to this property appear to be new televisions that allow streaming. Beyond that, the hotel shows clear signs of cheap, patchwork repairs — mismatched light fixtures, fresh caulking over old cabinets, and other cosmetic fixes that highlight how neglected the property truly is.
To make matters worse, the hotel now charges $12 per night for parking, which is completely comical given the location and local market. There is absolutely no justification for charging for parking at this property.
It’s honestly shameful that Hilton has failed to invest in a hotel that sits in such a great location along the river and includes a conference center. With a new Hampton Inn & Suites opening next door, I expect this property will quickly lose business — and deservedly so.
Once again, the staff is the only positive aspect of this hotel. Unfortunately, kindness alone cannot compensate for the unacceptable condition of the rooms and facilities. I would not recommend staying here if you are expecting anything close to a decent Hilton experience.
