The HVAC is just horrible. You can set the wall to 71 degrees and it will heat up to 78 then throttle down to 65. I've never seen such horrible temperature control in my life. Not only does it make it hard to sleep, I can only imagine what that sort of thing does to utility cost. The pantry i. The front was a joke, with almost nothing for snacks or not a single diet drink. Thankfully cvs is across the way, but still very inconvenient a d again lost margins for the hotel. Then for several breakfast the oatmeal was oat flavored water. Just a lot of little things that makes this one of the worst Hampton inns I've been in. And with my diamond status for the last 2 years, I've seen a lot. Definitely needs new management that has experience and competence.

Lacks nearby dining and shopping options. The tub hadn’t been cleaned. Had mold and dirt inside. Bathroom floor was sticky. Toilet was not scrubbed. Only thing they did was replace the towels. The beds looked decent. I was only using one but being that the bathroom was so dirty I second guessed whether they had taken short cuts on the linen as well. First morning I woke up sick. I’m allergic to mold so I’m wondering if this contributed to it. I did utilize the tea and coffee station downstairs in the lobby, which I’d say is the highlight of this hotel. It’s well maintained and always well stocked. I did go to eat breakfast one morning and the sausages looked undesirable and greasy and the eggs..well of course they’re powdered eggs so they look like most hotel eggs. The oatmeal was dried out. But I did get downstairs at the end of breakfast so this part is excusable. I will say that I had to call downstairs to the front desk TWICE because the young ladies who were cleaning the rooms were extremely loud and yelling down the hallway to each other while I was resting for work. That was so inconsiderate and unprofessional. Front desk staff could use a class on providing good old fashioned customer service because whenever I called with an issue they made me seem like an inconvenience to them. And housekeeping supervisor needs to better monitor their team. It’s no reason for these rooms to look like this and the hotel does not seem to be old and ran down just not properly maintained.

If you're an American truck driver, don't stay at this location. They'll cuss you out & demand that you remove your truck. Even though my company prepaid for multiple rooms for us to stay here, we got verbally threatened by a woman manager that she will have our trucks towed. There was no reasoning with this "Karen". She called the general manager & forced us to remove our trucks from the Hampton property. My company drives through here frequently. This is the 1st time we've stayed here & I can guarantee that my company will NEVER spend another red cent at this location. "Karen" made it very clear that she does not support American truckers.
