Wonderful location! 10min bus ride away from Chinatown. Also, a couple minute walk from any CTA route pickup. Jan 2nd-Jan 3rd, 2025 stay! My group was always welcomed over the phone, and in-person. Our luggage was well handled for the storage room. The lobby layout and design was fantastic! I think the hotel did a wonderful job partnering with Home2suites in the same building. It did not feel like a clash, or competition from the customer viewpoint. I loved the kitchen option in the rooms. Also, the automatic window view was super nice. I loved there were extra towels, and pillows in the cabinets. The kitchen utensils and appliances fit perfectly in the cabinets too. Well done on the storage, and spacing choices! The complimentary breakfast was great too. I wish there were a bit more fruits than apples and bananas. The kitchen staff instantly replaced the apple juice when they noticed too. Overall, I will definitely come back to this hotel when visiting Chicago! Thank you so much to all the staff members. We only had some medium bad moments. I was charged the stay cost, and maintaince/repair/damage coverage. I thought i paid it online so I spent a bit confused, and looking up my bank transactions in my hotel room. The main restrooms were very nice. However, there were some spills and spots near and around toliet. It was Jan 3, around 7:30pm right when my group left the hotel. The shower floor did seem a bit dirty when a paper towel, or toliet paper was ran on it. I did not take a video or picture as it was not noticeable to the eye anyways. I wish there was a stand up sign, or counter signs to direct people for the correct elevators. I did not notice the over head signs above the hallway differentiating home2suites and hilton garden. I was in the elevator for a few minutes confused. Another family was confused in the other elevator too. The keyless app did not work for me. I am appreciative the staff checked for any open rooms in case my group could leave our luggage in the rooms instead. Overall, I enjoyed Hilton. Its always been my preferred hotels. I recommend this location to anyone staying under $85 budget, and they mainly want to go to Chinatown.

One of my main concerns when traveling with a very young child was having a playpen. I was assured over the phone at the time of booking that one would be provided, and at check-in I was again told housekeeping would send one up. After waiting 30 minutes, I called back and was unapologetically told none were available. Had this been communicated honestly from the start, I could have easily brought one from home. This was extremely frustrating and avoidable. The room had several other issues. Hot water took up to 45 seconds to become warm, and the shower water would randomly turn cold. The diverter repeatedly switched water back to the lower faucet, the shower head appeared moldy, and the room smelled musty. Regular coffee pods were replaced with decaf. On the two occasions when I called the front desk, left on hold for at least five minutes, and overall the staff came across as dry and disengaged. The only positive was the à la carte breakfast on the 22nd floor, which was very good. Overall, too many basic issues for a hotel in this category.

Terrible experience here, the worst part was the customer service after having my items taken away from my room and nobody from the housekeeping staff, front desk, management took my situation seriously all they said was we cannot find your items. I left my clothes on the bathroom floor only to have them taken away by housekeeper while I was out for a couple hours , I spoke with management and they didn’t do anything to find my clothes or compensate me. I do not advise for you to stay here unless you lock all of your items in a safe because if they get stolen by housekeeping they will do nothing to get your items back to you

This hotel was perfect for the concert at Wintrust. We could take the skybridge or walk right across the street to get there. The only misstep was the valet. Waiting 2 hours for my car was unacceptable. If you leave on a Sunday, call the valley at least an hour before you need to leave, otherwise you're waiting forever in the lobby. Fyi, the water pressure was pretty terrible, thankfully I didn't need to wash my hair otherwise it would have taken an hour to rinse it out. For what it's worth, we'll be back early February for another concert. The convenience of the location is hard to beat.

My overall experience was okay, however, I had several issues with the app, specifically, the keyless option to access. I was charged twice for my visit because my room was somehow tied to 2 rooms. I spoke with Steven who identified himself as the manager. He was very divisive and unprofessional. He need to be trained on problem solving skills, his managerial skills were substandard and lacked ability to even investigate the issue properly. Since Steven did not provide a logical explanation for the additional charge, I reached out to the main number to make a complaint regarding my experience at Cermak. The representative I spoke with was able to resolve the issue, and had excellent investigative skills. She identified the issue and resolved it quickly. Thank you for doing the work Steven could not do.🙂
