The selling point was the pool for me, but then found out it was barely cared for, crowded over capacity with people that seemingly had the same idea, skin and mold was built up on the walls of it, and first thing in the morning I came back when there was only a few people in the hot tub, got in for a few minutes, and started actually developing a rash from how dirty it was and got out immediately. The water was murky, farty, cloudy, and gross lol idk why I got in besides the fact that I paid already for it and figured I might as well enjoy it for what it is, I regret it. The rooms barely hold towels because they’re afraid guests will take them it seems, same for the pool area and just the whole hotel in general seemed that way in terms of what it has to offer. The hotel is nearby the Roosevelt CTA station and a bunch of teens were able to sneak inside and roam around nearby the pool entrance, so honestly in hindsight, I don’t even know if the people in the pool were from the hotel or from straight off the red line train. The police came and were roaming the pool area too while we were there, probably looking for those who snuck in, but also could’ve been for any number of other reasons. I also saw someone get into a confrontation with a another person at the bar downstairs on my way in. Lots of problems, so I just kept my head down. Either way, rooms were nice and beds were fresh, clean and well kept. This hotel could be nice, all it needs is to actually pay for a dedicated staff guy to clean the pool twice a day for the amount of use it sees, or just a bigger pool, and then it also likely needs a key fob system and more of a barrier to getting inside the actual hotel, and honestly more precisely, a dedicated security guy to guard against people getting in, I felt like anybody and everybody was in those hallways, but security should in thinking be similar in thinking to office buildings or other hotels around it do already.

I booked a double bed room for Dec 28, but when I arrived, I was told only a king bed room was available. This is not what I reserved. What made the experience much worse was the complete lack of responsibility and customer service. The front desk repeatedly said “there is no double bed, nothing we can do” and refused to discuss any solution or compensation. I was told to come back the next morning to speak with a manager. When I did, the manager was not even available, and the front desk staff was extremely rude, saying things like “we are not Hilton, I’m just the front desk, don’t come to me.” This attitude was shocking and unprofessional. No apology. No solution. No compensation. This hotel shows no respect for reservations or guests. Do not stay here. It was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had.

The hotel is great the room is very clean there is a nice pool and a outside area right next to it. The only downfall is that the elevators are very slow and the view from the 27th floor is only good if you like looking in other people's windows.

Overall decent. Room was good, though shampoo and conditioner were completely out and had to ask staff to replenish. Stayed 3 nights, and the breakfast service was honestly pretty subpar. Thru really need to relocate their serving island. When it gets busy it's impossible to get around people and there was a lot of bumping and jostling around. Some food that should be hot (turkey sausage yesterday) was completely cold and today the biscuits and gravy were also room temperature. Coffee was also out but that's a little more forgivable since I'm sure they would have restocked after a few minutes. Generally breakfast was super limited and mostly cold which was a little odd/off-putting.
