The Hampton Inn West Loop was everything we hoped for. With 40+ rooms booked, Ariel and her team went above and beyond to make our guests feel welcome and cared for. Everything was seamless, and our friends and family had a wonderful stay. Highly recommend for weddings!

Room was great, very big, clean. Location wonderful, near the opera house. Staff could be better, more welcoming, listen a bit more ,i asked the way to the opera house as I wanted to buy the tickets for the following day and Bonnie tried to explain what the opera house, and said that it is a house for opera. When I asked for another direction, I was told " I don't know" and then googled it and printed the way. In my humble, they could be a bit more energetic.

Confusing layout - need better signage at all levels and corners. Two separate elevators and the signs are difficult to follow. Breakfast seating is way too small for the size of the hotel so you’ll be bumping into people and not able to find seat. The front desk is cashless so I couldn’t find change for a twenty for a tourist attraction tip needed. No vending but a small shop with snacks and drinks. Would have traded tap for an actual fountain soda station but not available. Location is decent and fantastic if you want to be near union station and canal, but they jacked up prices to 8 times normal rate for events like marathon. Rooms clean and lovely - no issues with rooms. Paid $$ extra for sky view but even on the highest floor (24) the view was just a few buildings. Tried to get a contactless check in digital key- they’ll still make you come to front desk to sign and register your card even if you prepaid again for incidentals ($75 daily - refunded on checkout). Present in room are fridge, safe, ironing board, iron, and the bathroom has shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion. Plus they had hand soap. I appreciate this because I don’t like to travel with many toiletries. Overall the cleaners are fantastic and probably deserve a raise. Not sure I’d stay here again tho since it’s a good 1.5 mile walk from the major downtown attractions and confusing in the way it’s laid out.
