I tried to preselect a room online in the Hilton app, but it didn't work at this hotel. My biggest issue with my stay was noise. When I got in around 1am I asked for a quiet room but the room faced Sheridan and the road noise was very high. Then a bunch of college were shouting in the hall right outside my room for half an hour, until I went downstairs and asked to change rooms at 1:30. I had tried to call the front desk and also messaged on the hilton app but no one answered. My new room was quieter but, on the last night of my stay, someone down the hall left their dogs in their room at 6:45am and the entire hallway was serenaded. When I called down to the front desk, half asleep they asked me to determine which room or they couldn't anything. I suggested they come upstairs and they'd be able to figure it out pretty quickly.
When I talked with the front desk in person they were friendly, and the hotel seemed clean, I just wish I'd been able to get a full night's sleep and they enforced a noise policy. It also would be nice if the hilton app worked with this hotel.

Staff were super nice, room was clean and stocked, lots of restaurants right by the hotel, and I found free street parking while I was there (They have valet parking and there is a parking ramp a few blocks away as well). Their breakfast was really nice too, 2 waffle machines and eggs, omelets, sausage, and potatoes. Overall great stay and value, would definitely stay here again.

Great breakfast with daily variety. I usually don't interact with the front desk much, but this trip I've needed extra help. They understood, and went above and beyond to handle the smallest of issues. You can tell these employees like where they work, and want to make it a nice stay. Location is easy to walk to Loyola and so many eateries and shops nearby. Nice views from the terrace on the 6th floor.
