Had a great stay over the weekend. From the valet, to check-in, to the amenities, everything was amazing. Some of the nicest and most accommodating staff I've had the pleasure in dealing with. Only downside was that one elevator was not working so it made it slightly difficult. However, with everything happening that weekend in the vicinity, it was understandable.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is in a good location. Train is about and 5 min or less walk down the street from the hotel. Service was very nice. I read quite a few people say it was a bit confusing sometimes too get to there room because there are 3 hotels in the building. I did not find it confusing at all. There are 3 separate elevators for each hotel and they are clearly marked. It was easy to me. Also, there are Amazon lockers in the lobby which was convenient since I had to order something i needed and picked it up right there at the hotel. You're about 15 mins drive to the river walk and other main attractions. If you take the train/ bus it's about 20 mins. Easy access. They are plenty of restaurants around. If you have a car, easy to get to them. You're 20 mins away from Midway Airport without traffic. If there's traffic or could take longer. You're 30 - 40 mins away, 2hrs away during rush hour from O'Hara. Midway is your best bet. The hotel is across the street from the McCormick Place convention center and across the street from Wintrust Arena. Literally across the street. Parking... Valet is $60/night. Parking lot in the rear of the hotel $52/night. Parking on S Indiana Street - FREE!!! Of course on the weekend it can be limited between 7 - 10:30. But after that and on weekdays you should be able to find free parking. Read the signs. The free parking is all the way down S. Indiana street so you may have a 2 block walk to the hotel. It was fine and safe. I didn't pay for parking at all. On Saturday we had to wait about 20 mins for people to come out of the comedy show at the arena. Once they came out parking opened and we were parked and back in our rooms. Breakfast was good. The attendants are very nice and helpful. The front desk staff were great and they offered free chocolate chip cookies everyday. There were 2 free water bottles in the rooms each night as well. Worth every penny. I will definitely stay here again!!! You get your money's worth.

Terrible water pressure and temperature on the 14th floor. Beds were way to firm to sleep comfortably through the night. Breakfast was delicious and the location was great.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hampton Inn Chicago McCormick Place! The rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the beds were super cozy after a long day exploring the city. The staff was friendly and always ready to help with directions or recommendations. The location is perfect — close to downtown and with great views of the skyline.
