  The bathtub was not cleaned properly, it was slippery and dangerous, the front desk couldn't seem to answer questions about the area i.e. best way to Soldier Field. The room was incredibly hot and the air system was faulty. Also, when I called for reservations my Hilton Honors was not applied, upon check in the desk clerk informed me they couldn't help me as my room was prepaid. I've never had such a bad experience at a Hampton Inn

  Good hotel near restaurants and stores. Fridays is next door and Giordano's Pizza is down the street. Location is minutes away to Midway Airport.

  On September 11, my husband and I checked into this hotel late in the evening, around 9 PM, and checked out the next morning at 3:03 AM for a 5 AM flight. As frequent Hilton customers, Gold Honors members, and credit card holders, we decided to use some of our reward points for this short stay. Everything went smoothly until I checked my credit card statement and discovered a $300 smoking fee charged to my account. As a non-smoker, this was shocking. No one contacted us or informed us that this charge would occur. It's been weeks since I started trying to resolve this issue. We opened a case and were told the general manager would reach out, but we've had no contact since then. Despite leaving voicemails and sending emails, we still haven't received any response or clarification. After researching the smoke detectors, I've found they can be triggered by various factors, such as clothing steamers or weak batteries. The lack of information provided to us is extremely unprofessional. I never expected to encounter this kind of experience with the Hilton brand. I’ve always recommended them as my top choice for travel due to my frequent work trips. At this point, they've lost my business.

  Under renovation during our stay (not advertised during booking) so a little noisy with all the outside work. Decent rooms but a bit worn , typical Hampton breakfast with hot and cold options. Close to the airport but better to not rely on the shared shuttle if in a rush. It runs between several hotels and missed us on our first departure.
