We had a fundraising event here. The banquet room was large enough to accommodate our group of 250. The food was good and there is plenty of parking available.

Bonnie and Kay were so welcoming and sweet. I came to town for a funeral and needed to check in early. They accommodated me with my requests and was happy to do so. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable ,and the cookies were delicious. My overall stay was above and beyond and I highly recommend this location. If I ever need to come this way again this hotel will definitely be my choice. Thanks again ladies and keep up the good work.

Extremely Disappointed with My Stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Alsip
I’m a Hilton Honors member, and I was extremely disappointed with my recent stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Alsip, Chicago. After driving over 10 hours, my family and I patiently stood in line like everyone else in the lobby to check in.
(We had five rooms) When it was finally my turn, I gave my name to the front desk agent, Jairo, during my check in he stopped helping me mid-conversation to assist the woman behind me without saying “one moment” or offering any acknowledgment. He answered all of her questions and completed her request before returning to me.
Once he finally finished my check-in, he placed my room keys on the counter without saying a word and walked away. His attitude was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional.
To make matters worse, I arrived at my room only to find that it was dirty and clearly had not been cleaned properly prior to my arrival. After such a long drive and as a loyal Hilton Honors member, this was completely unacceptable.
I’ve always trusted the Hilton brand for quality service and hospitality, but this experience was far below expectations. I hope management addresses this situation promptly and takes steps to ensure guests—especially loyal members—are treated with the professionalism and respect they deserve.

My name is John and I am commenting on my wife's account. Due to my business, I have stayed at the Alsip Double Tree for 25 times in the last 3 months. The room accommodations were just fine
Not luxurious, but very acceptable for the price. The room was clean and everything was working in the room. The bartender in the morning was great and gave me good service. In general, the staff was friendly and helpful for the things thst they had control of.
I have had 2 disappointing experiences of the same kind which I want to complain about.
In each room, there is a bottle of Smart water for use. But if you use the bottle, then they will charge you $5 for the bottle. For me, that bottle has no value for the price that they charge. The price is clearly taged on the bottle. So therefore I have never used that bottle. I guess I am cheap, but I will not pay that for a bottle of water. That's ok though. As long as you don't use or take the bottle, the hotel is not supposed to charge.
Well guess what?
Twice now I was charged for this extra amenity even though I did not use it. The charge was not on my original receipt. But the charge was taken out of my credit card without notice, days later.The only way that I found out about it was when I was going over the balance on my business credit card.
After the first incident, I brushed off the charge, and just paid my credit card charge. But then it happened again a few weeks later. Extra charge for a full bottle that I left untouched in the room.
I contacted Hilton and disputed the charge. They are going to return the $5 to me. But my issue is that at this hotel, it seems like someone is reporting false charges. That is stealing.
I can easily afford the $5 dollars. But as a customer, I don't like it that there is petty theft, false financial charges, and the charges are executed to personal credit cards without any notification after the fact.
I only discovered it by looking at the card details on line with my bank.
I informed local management, but I didnt get a good feeling that follow up would occur.
Therefore I am posting here.
