I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Addison, Chicago for one night, and overall, the experience had both highlights and drawbacks. The service stood out from the moment I walked in. Because of my Gold Membership, I received a complimentary early check-in, which was extremely convenient and genuinely appreciated. I want to especially thank the receptionist who was working on the morning of Friday, November 14th. Although I wasn’t able to catch her name, her professionalism, friendliness, and efficiency made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. She represented the hotel wonderfully, and her service alone deserves recognition. However, beyond the hospitality, the hotel itself clearly shows its age. From the moment I stepped inside, it was obvious that the building and interior haven’t been updated in a long time. The rooms, hallways, and common areas all have that “old hotel” feeling—not dirty, but noticeably outdated. The tiles in particular stood out as one of the most obvious signs of how old the property is. You can see and feel the wear, and it gives the impression that the hotel has been overdue for renovation for quite some time. It doesn’t match the quality of what travelers today expect when choosing a Hilton-brand stay. Because the service was excellent but the facilities were significantly outdated, I have to give this hotel three stars. With proper renovations and a modern refresh, it could easily rise to four or even five stars. Hopefully, the management invests in renewing the property so future guests can enjoy both great service and a modern stay experience.

The hotel is clean, comfortable, and easy to find. The food and beverage service made our stay excellent. We were pleasantly surprised to find a full service restaurant on site - it was nice to be able to eat a decent meal without having to leave our hotel after a long drive. The manager working at the bar (both evening and morning) was exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the chef working in the evening was super attentive. We will stay here again!

Went for the hotel's breakfast buffet on a few Sundays. It's not elaborate but sufficient for a delicious breakfast, scrambled eggs ( or Nick will make you any other style you like ) pancakes, sausage, turkey and pork sausage, seasoned grilled Redskin potatoes, oatmeal, custom made omelettes. Most of the items aren't directly on the buffet because of space constraints but could be asked for made fresh. If you don't see something you like just ask if they can make it. Also includes orange cranberry and apple Juice, coffee, Milk, cold cereal and milk. If you stay at the hotel there are room up grades or meal perks to frequent guests of Hilton's hotels that give allowances for some meals. By the way, Cash is no good here unless your buying snacks etcetera.... practically the entire hotel is running a cashless system including the restaurant. Make sure you have your credit and or debit card with you when you come to stay at the hotel or visit the restaurant.

Currently under renovations. Some of the facilities like pool and gym are nice. But most of the rooms are a bit dated. They are fixing it though. Staff is great locations safe, quiet, and close to everything. Beds are pretty good.
