- CEChristopher EdwardsJan 2, 20261.0The hotel was pretty but we literally were there maybe 45 minutes as we went to dinner and when we came back to the room, we didn't even turn down the blankets as we found the bed to be extremely hard and very uncomfortable. We ended up checking out and letting the front desk agent, Jessica know why. She said she totally understood. I tried to get a refund as we did not stay over. We were very disappointed because we were there to bring in the New Year, but yet we headed home due to the horrible mattress. We were refused a refund and offered keycash that totals 3.22 towards our next eligible trip when our room was close to 200.00 which was not utilized. I am not understanding why they chose to not refund us or at least get a credit for the same amount at another hotel that has beds that are sleepable. I think this decision is very wrong and will never stay at one of your locations again.

The room itself was not very clean, we requested an extra bed, but after a long five-hour journey, all I wanted was sleep, yet we were left to make our own bed. This was new to us because, in all previous hotels, the hotel ensured that the extra bed was ready for the guest. The room could have been cleaner, with noticeable stains on the chairs and shower. At night, it was also quite noisy due to traffic on the road. The conference was held at the same hotel, but both the ladies' and gentlemen's restrooms were dirty at the time. The hotel manager should pay attention to the cleanliness of the restrooms during the event. However, the hotel's close to local attractions was a major advantage because it is next to the State Capitol Building.
