    Hard to believe they can't fix their tv situation in their lobby with a walmart and costco near by. Not very resourceful.

    We recently stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites in West Des Moines, IA near Jordan Creek, traveling as a family of four with two small children. We chose this hotel for the free breakfast and pool—and it didn’t disappoint! From the start, the night manager Liz greeted us warmly and made check-in a breeze. She went above and beyond by providing extra pillows and sharing recommendations for delivery, which was a lifesaver for our weary crew. Her customer service was outstanding. Our room was spotless, with plenty of extra pillows on the beds, a tidy bathroom stocked with towels, and the convenience of a mini fridge and microwave. The pool area was perfect—just the right depth for young kids, with plenty of towels available for drying off. We took Liz’s suggestion and ordered from a local pizza place, which was absolutely delicious after a long day. In the morning, the complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety and was well stocked—another big plus for traveling with kids. Overall, this was a wonderful stay. Clean rooms, thoughtful amenities, great food, and truly welcoming staff made it a perfect stop for our family.
