- SSScott SNov 30, 20255.0This is our 2nd stay at this particular Revel Hotel. Initially, it was selected by our friends from Kansas. This is a middle ground for us to meet and have a catch up weekend. This is more of a business type facility aa there is no on site pool etc. However, they do have a use agreement with a neighbor hotel that families can use those facilities. There is a walkable restaurant - Machine Shed besides an on site food option that does have a menu. We heard about and tried a German restaurant in DesMoines, about 15-20 minutes drive (easy). Hessen Haus was a must go. But Revel was comfortable for our needs. Cocktails and space for cards and laughter.
