- TSTommy Scribbins2 days ago1.0Possibly the nicest "economy" motel I've ever visited. Booked directly with Hilton and saved $50 per night vs. Priceline and other sneaky middlemen. Front desk staff was accommodating. Fresh, hot, free coffee was available 24/7. Even decaf! King suite at $120/night was immaculate and spacious. Housekeeping was on the ball, and they gave us two free bottles of water each day (upon request). I said, "¿Puedo tengo dos aguas? They said, "Si." I said, "Gracias." Literally, I think I asked, "Can I I have two waters?" My Spanish is awful, but it' was good enough to get water. The breakfast was breakfast, but it was fresh and the hot stuff was hot and they changed the egg style and meat each morning. Bonus: the handles on the serving spoons weren't gross They even had a 3" waffle iron for people like me who don't want a great big waffle, just a taste. This is the first time in I ever thought, "This hotel should charge more." It was so nice that the next time we go on a "fancy" vacay, we might just stay at a Hampton and blow the savings at a casino.
