    This was the smallest room I’ve been in haha It’s all good I just came here to sleep. Had a fridge and a shower what more do I need. Was quiet, which was nice. Love the self checkin/out through the Hilton app. Always makes Hilton a top choice for me

    Seven months ago we booked two nights in October for part of a family road trip. We received a confirmation from Hampton Inn the day before we arrived confirming that they were looking forward to seeing us the next day. After driving all day, we showed up exhausted with two kids looking forward to playing in the pool. The employee looked me up in the system and said they don't have a room for us, I showed him my confirmation so he looked again and said he found it and there had been a computer glitch (that he blamed on Amazon) earlier that day that cancelled my reservation (and apparently other guests too) and because they had overbooked the hotel someone else immediately took my room. There had been no communication about this to us (and still haven't received any communication or apology or anything). They didn't take any steps to resolve it such as rebooking us and instead giving bad news to the guests who had just taken our room that day. Instead he said the Quality Inn down the street had available rooms and said there was nothing he could do and then went and hid in the room behind the front desk. We went to the Quality Inn to find they did have a room for that night but not the next night. After booking that night and checking in, we found out their pool was closed which was hugely disappointing for our kids. Then we had to spend time that night to find a place to relocate to the next day and ended up paying more total between the two 2-star hotels than we had originally paid for our two nights at the Hampton Inn. The entire experience has left a very bad impression of Hampton Inn as a company and the reliability of the technology they use to manage reservations, I will be avoiding them in the future.

    I've stayed at this location 16 times over the last 12 months (I travel to this area for business frequently) and ~25 times over the past 2 years. I had a case of bed bugs in May (room 200). Because there is not a large pool of hotels to choose from in the area and this location perceived as one of, if not the best in the town, I marked that as a "one off" event. Last week I experienced another bed bug event. The hotel obviously has a problem (two events this year). I will now be staying in Burlington or Quincy (and will be diligent in checking for bed bugs wherever I stay!)

    Hampton in Keokuk, IA does not live up to their posted statement at check in that "any team member can help the customer be happy, guaranteed ". Untrue, and not to be trusted. The front desk would not honor our confirmed reservation because their payment system was not working, and they could not accept any form of payment. Something definitely wrong with their policies & procedures & systems to turn away & alienate a customer. When the manager on duty was, called she would not help saying it was our, the customers' fault. We had to find another hotel which happily accepted the same credit card that Hampton would not accept. Thereby proving Hampton was the problem, not the customer. Most disappointing was the time lost with family while needlessly battling this stressful situation. We can't recover that. Posted by Susan Ballard

    Nice rooms and comfy bed. Bathroom was very spacious. The breakfast was good too with lots of options. The WiFi was so slow though. Only like 4-5 mbps so if you’re staying here for work you either need to pay to upgrade the WiFi (so lame that Hilton does this, stop being so cheap and be good to your customers) or just stay somewhere that has better WiFi in the first place.
