- KSKelly Spears2 days ago1.0I was eating breakfast with my children while I witnessed the manager, speaking to the employees pretty poorly. I felt very uncomfortable. I don’t think I’ll be back. Maybe I just came on the wrong time.

- TMTyler MohrDec 13, 20251.0Do not attend if you have children who play on sports teams (at the Grimes basketball and baseball facilities). Warning to all teams and coaches: find another hotel. Staff will complain about kids "running halls" and "need to be under adult supervision at all times when not in their rooms"... when simply being kids. We repeatedly got warnings as early as 8pm... and we were the only guests (specifically sports team) at the facility. Fine hotel... not sports team friendly. Do yourself a favor and spend your team dollars elsewhere.

We were looking for a place for relatives from in town and out of town to gather the night before the funeral to eat, drink and catch-up. When Robie, General Manager, heard this she encouraged us to gather in the main lobby/breakfast area space and use her hotel for our gathering. She and her staff were so accommodating and welcoming. We ended up with 25 adult cousins and their spouses able to meet up for a wonderful evening here and it was perfect! Beautiful, clean hotel and couldn't have been friendlier. Thank you for allowing us to use your beautiful space to create a fun memory around a sad event. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our of town guests.
