    Great location with restaurants within walking distance. Kim at the front desk was great, very friendly and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and made sure we had everything we needed. Would stay here again if in the area. We were here for a volleyball tournament.

    This hotel has a great, walkable location. That being said, the rooms are lackluster. Our initial room had broken heat--the room wouldn't raise over 63 degrees on a very cold winter day. This seemed to extend to other areas of the property, as the lobby and pool area were also very chilly. The staff initially recommended more blankets rather than allowing us to move rooms, which I found reprehensible. While the fixtures themselves weren't terribly unclean, there were a lot of issues that point to a lack of overall care and lack of maintenance, such as smears and dirt on the walls, a large chunk missing from the drywall, discolored caulking, etc. Plus, the pillows really sucked.

    We've stayed here twice now. Kim at the front desk is fantastic! Professional and down to earth. She helped us by loaning us her lint roller when we were dressing up for New Year's and our kitty had taken a nap on my husband's wool coat. The rooms were clean, comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. We will choose this hotel again when we come to Cedar Falls.

    We came from the burbs of Chicago for our son's graduation from UNI. Staff (Lauren and Kim) were absolutely amazing. All staff were hustling to make everyone feel welcome. We appreciated the open concept in the lobby. We had a group of 10 come back and play dominoes at a long gathering table. It was the perfect spot for a blended family to come together.

    Had to book a stay here last minute given the time of night, called the location first to confirm id be able to check in when I arrived if I booked the reservation, was told I could, arrived and was told I couldn't check in after the fact and I'd have to cancel my reservation and rebook and just dispute the transaction, given the time of night I did rebook for the same room I requested which was available they just couldn't get me in earlier for whatever reason. I cancelled as told by the hotel attendant and requested a refund the next morning but because I cancelled the my refund policy was thrown out. Not at all happy with being told by hotel staff I would be able to get my money back pay for the same room which was already available then not be able to be refunded. Was a good stay and the hotel attendant who helped me was great but I won't be back to this hotel again. Make sure you get 100% assurance you'll get your money back should you be told you'll have to cancel guess that was my mistake.
