This was the 2nd of 4 HI's on this trip. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. These are two of the three amenities I look for in a roadside hotel. The third is a good shower. This HI and two others on this trip failed to have an adequate shower. The water pressure was really low making it very difficult for my wife to wash her hair. She has thick hair and was unable to fully rinse her hair. As for me, after 8 hours behind the wheel to be met with a trickle of a shower is completely unsatisfactory.
Also, as an aside, it appears HI has standardized its breakfast. All four HI'S on this trip have had the exact same breakfast. Can't say it's good. I'm sure the omlets are easy but they are always rubbery, the hard boiled eggs cannot be peeled. Most likely from being boiled to close to being laid. Add to this the poultry sausages (always mushy and tastless) and that almost all other foods offered are high sugar foods. There's not much there when one has a carb restricted diabetic diet.

We had a bus load checking in late on 9/9/25. Only had one lady there because we got there late. She was so nice and professional. Got the group through as quickly as she could. Definitely go again!!!!
