We had a wonderful stay at the Hampton Inn in Kapolei in December 2025. Everything went right: We were able to check in early. The staff welcomed us with an unexpected gift bag because it was our 29th Anniversary. This showed that they value their customers. The guest room was spacious and clean. We requested a quiet room, and it was. When we checked out the next day, we were allowed to leave our luggage at the hotel since our plane didn't leave until that evening. When we retrieved our luggage later, the staff graciously allowed us to repack our bags in the empty dining room. All Hampton Inn's kind gestures made for a very satisfying experience. We would definitely stay here again.

The rooms were nice and clean. I wished it had slightly more space for clothing/luggage. It was tight space for 4 of us for a week, but it was fine because we’re rarely in the room. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The cleaners did a great job on our daily cleaning/freshen up. The breakfast was always good, and they changed it up slightly every day. The hotel is attached to a nice outdoor mall. It is also in a shopping center, so you are walking distance to a grocery store, shopping, entertainment, and all the food you can crave.

It was perfect. Very convenient being that it was in the location on the Westside of Oahu. A part of the Ka Makana Alii Mall made it even more convenient to shops and eateries and a grocery store. The staff were pleasant as well. With a mixture of local families (which I am) and island visitors. Parking was great as well.

Asked about late checkout when I checked in was told to just let them know by the morning. Called the front desk a few hours later to confirm late checkout (my flight doesn’t leave until 10pm website says late checkout is available until 4pm for a fee) and was then informed that’s its only available if the room is free. Simple communication from the front desk staff would have been helpful at check in. 1. They could have mentioned that it required more than simply telling them by the morning. 2. They could have checked me into a room that wasn’t already booked for another check in the next day. Edit: Thank you for your reply. I do want to add that everything else about the hotel was great. Bar staff and everyone else at the front desk was wonderful. It does say on the Hilton website for this location that late checkout is available until 4pm for $150. If that’s incorrect the website should be updated so travelers with late flights are aware. Also there are rooms available on the Hilton app and Hotels Tonight so it doesn’t appear the hotel is sold out. Nonetheless the rest of the stay was good. I would definitely book again for a short stay if I need to be near the airport again.

This hotel costs over $400 per night. I booked it through Alaska Air Vacations. It might be cause it is on the back side of a huge shopping area with many restaurants. The amenities here include a free deluxe breakfast, a high quality pure water stand, around the click tea/coffee, a gym, a pool and free parking. The front desk will provide a notice to place inside your vehicle. Also, there are specific parking spots in the parking lot for the hotel only. This whole shopping area has so many visitors that the parking lots get totally filled up. There is one way to easily get to the backside of the area and drive to the hotel. That is by taking the route at the left end of the gym.
