Overlooking Kahului Bay, Hampton Inn and Suites Maui North Shore serves to quality-driven and value-conscious travelers a modern, spacious rooms with free hot breakfast. The town's newest hotel consists of two four-story buildings united by a single-story lobby building that houses a fitness center, market, dining area and outdoor patio complimented with an ocean front pool.
Our stay at the Hampton Inn Maui North Shore was great, and we would definitely recommend it. The property was very clean, and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. The entire property was well maintained, and we really liked how everything felt new and modern. The staff was helpful, and our room was well kept, comfortable, and felt new. We also had an ocean view, which was a nice bonus. The food was good overall, though the vegetarian and vegan options were quite limited, and more variety would have been appreciated. The complimentary breakfast each morning was solid and offered enough choices to start the day. The hotel also has a nice pool, a large property in the back with great ocean views, and a private beach that we really enjoyed. It is also very close to the Swap Meet (on Saturdays), which is one of the best times to buy souvenirs in Maui. Overall, a great stay and an easy recommendation.

This is a clean and well run location. The building is new and the rooms are in great condition. Hotel services are on point and the bar menu is the best I've had of all the Hampton Inns I stay at (I travel for work and Hiltom brands are my preferred). The breakfast options are your standard fare for Hamptons, solid but not anything you'd post on Instagram for, though the dinner menu is a totally different story. The poke bowl they offer is the best I've had in a long time! I should also note that the staff are quite friendly and professional. Will definitely stay here again, the next time I'm in Maui.

Our stay here was amazing. Front desk was very professional a gentleman believe his name was Branson was very nice. We had a small request for our 4 year old and they went above and beyond with that request. Highly recommend if you have kids as the pool is only 3 ft deep on one side and they got other games. Room was clean and all service was great.

PRICE: very expensive ($500 - $600/night) for a budget hotel, AND, doesn't even provide daily maid service. Even for long-term (more than 1 night), they only do "light maid service" (i.e. replace towels & sheets) every other day. SLEEP QUALITY: A/C makes a loud noise every time it comes on, like thunder or a loud truck passing. Horrible sound insulation between floors, was woken up and kept awake all night by room above walk, loud noises. CHECK-IN: Maui hotels are chronically short on staff & they couldn't check us in until 5:30 PM (no offered compensation of any kind, not even a free bottle of water!). LOBBY: Dirty & not maintained, including the common lobby bathrooms. BREAKFAST: Terrible quality food, coffee was constantly empty and staff not attentive to refilling. FEES: Hawaii has gotten outrageous with fees & taxes & this hotel is no exception, including high price for parking despite a huge parking lot and no other reason to charge for parking. WIFI: Despite a 6-night stay, WiFi kept disconnecting & had to keep signing in.

The beginning was great. Traci was new but was very nice and welcoming. The beds are ok a little hard but you have a beach right outside the hotel. Very secluded and calming. There is a restaurant. Im not a fan. Robert the bartender didn't want to wait on me. Made me very uncomfortable. Never smiled. Always has the young lady with a different skin tone help me. I just stopped eating at the hotel all together. Then breakfast they ran out of food but wouldn't make more unless they felt like it. You literally are paying thousands of dollars weekly and you can't make croissants. Yeah I initially enjoyed the hotel but got a little weird. The door on the west wing never worked and than staff would look at you and keep walking while your trying using the key to get in. The location is close to the mall which is great, the food trucks Thai me up. And more. Overall good hotel just not for the restaurant service.
It seems like Robert is on here plenty of times being rude. Read the other comments but the hotel doesn't speak with him. Please do better hilton. 🙏
