Hotel is in industrial area with a lot of traffic. We could not find a nice restaurant that was really close where we would not deal with a lot of traffic. Location near the freeways. Suite was clean, bed comfortable. Decent kitchen area. Decor average throughout. Bathroom had automatic fan which made horrible loud noises. Shower took quite a while to get the water hot. Staff friendly. I just would not stay in that part of Atlanta again; we wanted to be near Stone Mountain park. Would never go there again !

I have not even checked in yet and quite worried. I called to ask if our suite can be on the bottom floor, I was told that they will not know until tomorrow. I then asked if we can have early check in since we are driving from Florida, I was told probably not and that I would most likely not be able to check in at 3:00 ( which is check in time) due to the hotel being full. So, I checked and the hotel is not full. We shall see how this goes.

Hallways and elevators were a little outdated, but it led to being pleasantly being surprised at how the room was appearing nice, put together, and clean. Microwave and fridge were functioning. Negatives: Right next to a school bus parking area so you'll hear beeping of the busses backing up and car alarms going off in the evening and then late morning. AC unit was loud and rattled any time it activated. Also we had the do not disturb sign up on the door knob to be able to sleep in before going back onto the road (check out is at 12PM) and we ended up being shot awake by housekeeping/management at 8:40AM knocking on the door to make sure someone was in??? We double-checked the do not disturb sign after being woken up and it was still there so not sure why she felt the need to do this check before check out time.

The location of this Hampton Inn is convenient, but unfortunately my overall experience wasn’t great. While the room itself was fairly comfortable, I was disappointed to find marks on the bed, which was pretty disgusting, and I also saw a bug in the room. Parking was another issue — it was difficult to find a spot, and the setup didn’t feel guest-friendly. On top of that, their key system was strange. They weren’t able to make room keys, so a security guard had to walk us to our room. Instead of making me feel safer, the whole situation came off as suspicious and unprofessional. With some improvements in cleanliness, parking, and guest procedures, this hotel could be much better, but as of now, I can’t say I’d choose to stay here again.
