- KNKelly NodaNov 4, 20251.0I am pretty forgiving but this stay was the worst. A lot of little issues that compounded into one giant mess. Stayed one night- in the shower no conditioner, I thought, oh well, then I hear from a local when I was at dinner they're tearing it down since they just built the Hilton Garden Inn nextdoor. Ok. I wake up at 5am to an alarm going off in the vacant room nextdoor. For 30 minutes. I call the front desk, no answer. Then I go down to get breakfast-(pretty gross selection), walk back to the room and card doesn't work. Go back to the desk, she rekeys both keys, still don't work, go back again, she gives me a new key, it doesn't work. Go back a 3rd time and tell her she has to come with me and let me in my room. I got out of there. Then they double charged me for the room. There was a pending refund so I thought it was a mistake and was being taken care of. This morning, the double charge was consolidated to one charge, posted and the pending credit is gone. And then in my honors account, the stay is cancelled, so there aren't records of the stay. Unbelievable. Not sure I'll ever stay in another Hampton or Hilton property again. Oh, and now the charge for the room is $161? I don't think that is what I originally agreed to when I booked it. Doesn't sound like me. I wouldn't spend that for an overnight for a work trip. SO SHADY.

Got hit with another pet fee in the morning after leaving. Called to check on this and was told I probably misunderstood. There's no way I would pay over $250 for this room. The condition it was in wasn't worth $150!! It was a way to rip people off.
