The hotel is old and dated. The room is so small, they dont have a closet and just put a hanging rack that looks like it came from IKEA. The web listing said they have an EV charger - which was a requirement for me to book- and they do not! No compensation was given at all. Just a " i guess we need to fix the listing" response.

The hotel itself is just ok. The rooms look remodeled, but there are visible flaws and broken items in rooms. The hallway carpets are dirty and only one elevator works so don't stay here if you need to go places quickly. Parking lot is big. That's about all the nice things I can say about this place. Now onto the bad: the front desk employee Reedy is a liar and unhelpful. She claimed to call me to assist with an issue and she did not. She did not even leave notes for her colleagues who work at night. The general manager is a rude joke. He thinks dressing nicely makes up for not having class or integrity. I don't leave reviews unless a place impresses me with their service (or lack thereof) and this place definitely earned this bad review. As a level 7 Google reviewer, I put the full weight of my status behind this review.
And since the hotel seems to respond to reviews, I'm sure something smart and passive aggressive will be used to reply to this review, but nevertheless my review stands and I have no other motivation for my review than to give my honest feedback and personal experience. I'm not trying to sell you or anyone something. They are.

The hotel stay itself was fine. However it came after a lackluster showing of customer service. After my wife and I drove for 7 plus hours we were exhausted and booked a hotel while on the road. We meant to book Hampton Norcross right off the freeway. However after arrive and unloading our vehicle and went into the lobby we found out that we accidentally booked at the Norcross Peartree location.
The person at the front desk told us the Norcross location could not make any changes to the reservation however the Peartree location could. I reached out to customer service and they contacted the Peartree location however the front desk staff refuse to release us from the room. This meant that we would be billed for that room if we stayed at Norcross.
I explained to customer service that we had only booked the room an hour ago so this was not a normal cancel situation as we weren't trying Rebook star Norcross Hampton. Once again customer service attempted to contact a Peartree location and again they said no. After hassling with the customer service and failing we finally picked up our luggage to load up the car and get back on the road.
This front desk cleark at Norcross saw the huge cs fail and said she would attempted to contact the Peartree location herself. I thought maybe frontdesk to frontdesk they would make an exception but for the third time Peartree said no, no exceptions. So we loaded all the suitcases back in the car and drove the 12 or 15 minutes over to the Pear Tree location.Even though the hotel stay was fine, it felt negative and unpleasant, luckily we were only there for the night. What really matters is how a company takes care of their customers when things go awry. There was no customer service here, they had us by the gonads and they squeezed. This will definitely affect where we stay next time.

The location was where I wanted to be and the price was right, but disappointed in the quality of the hotel. Everything was in need of repair, the carpets and floors were not clean, even in the elevator. The desk chair in the room would not hold in the up position, just kept sliding down to the lowest setting. There was only one person at the desk for check in and none when checking out. The included breakfast was lackluster, but an okay perk.
