  We stayed here for 2 nights for an event that was taking place nearby. The location, while hearing road traffic at times due to proximity to the interstate, was perfect for our stay due to the availability of restaurants & shopping; the room needed more attention to cleanliness; and the check-in process and service was disappointing. When we checked in, there was confusion about parking. At first, we were told that we could have the charge added on to our room, but then we were told that we had to scan the QR code, so when we checked out, I was hoping we were not charged twice (once with QR code, the other by adding the charge to my room). Had the rep explained that we did not have to stay in the hotel lot, we would've parked across the street at the mall, but that was not offered to us. Having asked us if we had been there before, which we had not, the rep did not explain anything to us about the hotel or amenities (nothing about breakfast, the fitness room, where to get on the elevator, etc.). I've stayed at other Home 2 Suites location, and at this location, I felt we were not welcomed or given the same level of attention that I've experienced at other locations. As for the room, we like the modern look of these hotels & rooms, esp. with the amount of storage/counter space, the comfortable bed, and the kitchenette, but it was clear that housekeeping did not do a thorough check of the room to prepare for our arrival. There was a pizza box in the fridge leftover from a previous guest, we did not receive washcloths or the bath mat (only hand towels & large bath towels), the dispensers in the shower were not secure (the top of them are missing the screw so the containers fell over when trying to use them), and dishes were still in the dishwasher (unsure as to whether or not they were clean). Breakfast options were sufficient but by the time we had breakfast on our check-out day, eggs had not yet been replenished, which was understandable as there were several families and groups there on the same day but frustrating nevertheless. Overall, while we do like the Home 2 Suites hotels in general, we would likely not return to this location due to the parking fee, service we experienced, and lack of attention to the room as there are several hotels to choose from in this same area.

  Room was good but had to pay for parking which if I had realized before I booked, I would not have chosen this location! Two hotels in one using the same elevator was confusing because you had to had to have your room key for the correct hotel to get to your floor. Having to use a room key for the elevators was a pain when you had luggage, etc and found it easier just to use the stairs than put up with the hassle of the elevator key issue! Breakfast bar had no juices except for orange juice and some awful flavored waters! Will not be staying at this location again!

  Shout out for the exceptionally warm and welcoming staff (Tavares & John & housekeeping hombre) plus the property itself! Very well-appointed, spotlessly clean, nice touches like an outdoor firepit, pool table and full bar in the lobby. The kitchenette in our comfortable room was well-equipped with nice flatware, dishes and glassware. We walked to Wasabi Sushi Hibachi, right next door. Great location, especially ideal for our southerly migration from the north. Thanks to all at Home2 Suites by Hilton Atlanta NW Kennesaw! Our entire stay exceeded our expectations by far!

  The breakfast beverage dispenser was mislabeled this morning. The slot marked as “zero-sugar strawberry-kiwi” was actually dispensing cranberry juice cocktail with sugar. I drank a full cup thinking they added more syrup than usually before realizing it was the wrong drink. This kind of mix-up could cause real problems for guests with diabetes, food allergies, or medical diets (for example, those managing epilepsy with ketogenic diets). Could you please have the staff check the labeling and refill lines to make sure the correct products are in the correct dispensers? Also, there was a roach nymph in my shower.
