Just wanted to leave a thank you to James. He helped us tremendously with a medical emergency in our group while staying at the hotel. He was kind, supportive and very helpful.

Overall, the hotel is very nice, but the lighting and the amount of mirrors in this hotel is terrible. We had three female family members staying together for a family reunion and it was very stressful. Trying to get ready.. I know this is first world problem, but if you’re paying for a decent accommodation, these are little touches that would be nice to have.

We had a wonderful experience checking in thanks to Ingrid at the front desk. She was incredibly accommodating, kind, and understanding of our situation. She handled everything efficiently and was able to resolve our issues very quickly. Her professionalism and friendliness made our check-in process smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend!

While the bed was comfortable, everyone was courteous and polite, the breakfast was tasty, and the location helpful, I will not be staying at this hotel again. Not a fan of the $6 parking fee or the fact that the bottled water in my room had a nice big tag on it that said "free for diamond, gold, and silver members but $3 each for all other guests." Really? water? I notice details when I travel and the bathtub drain was closed when I went to take a shower. At first I thought it was jammed shut when the tub started filling up with water, but upon closer examination, no one bothered to make sure it was open for the next guest in that room. Instead of making a flower design out of the Kleenex, perhaps more functional touches could be on your radar. Also, which type of breakfast is included with your stay, if you purchased a room with a breakfast option, is a bit ambiguous when you get down to the dining area. It's nice that they have a chef with a cooked to order option. The food was tasty. There is a large sign in the dining area, however, that says Cooked to Order breakfast $16.95/person and Continental breakfast $9/person. I was confused which one I was "signed up" for and also heard multiple guests around me discussing this in the dining area and questioning which breakfast came with their reservation and if breakfast was included, etc. $16.95 per person is a bit much regardless. The "Continental" breakfast has no meat and is limited-- it has hardboiled eggs, fruit, muffins, bagels, yogurt, cereal, and that type of thing. If you want scrambled eggs, bacon or sausage, breakfast potatoes and that sort of thing, you must pay for the Cooked to Order breakfast. Other hotels that are not of the Hilton brand offer these breakfast foods for free with your stay. There was just a feeling of being nickel and dimed. The bathroom door awkwardly blocks the entryway into the room when it is open. You should consider getting a sliding door design for your bathrooms and a vent fan while you're at it. It was weird that the mini-fridge in my room was hidden behind a cabinet door that opens in the opposite direction of the fridge's door. Why hide the fridge behind a cabinet at all? Just leave it visible. Another thing that was immediately noticeable to me was there is a long desk in the room, the TV is on one end of it and there's space to write, put a laptop, etc. at the other end of this built in desk which is affixed to the wall. Mine was affixed to the wall in such a way you could see the sideways electrical outlet to plug in your stuff, but when you go to plug anything in, you can see that the desk is against the wall in such a way that it blocks you from being able to successfully put a plug into the outlet. There are other outlets in the room, thankfully, but something like that should have been considered just like the bathroom door or the other less than functional design choices. The A/C ran all night. I increased the temperature setting to see if it would get to temperature and stop running, but it never stopped making noise despite what temperature you selected. The other very noticeable aspect is the loud noise you hear with every floor the elevator stops at. There is a very loud buzzing ding for every single floor it passes, so annoying. I have stayed at other Hilton hotels across the country and feel like this one just does not quite live up to the Hilton experience.

I’ve been with Hilton for a while. I was even diamond status at one point. This is the worst one I’ve stayed in. When I spent over 500 dollars on a stay and they told me they charge for parking I should have cancelled my reservation and walked out. That’s a joke. They also charge for breakfast. Rooms are outdated and nothing impressive. Beds are not comfortable. They don’t care if you’re diamond or gold status. My grandparents stayed at the holiday inn express in Woodstock. They didn’t charge for parking or breakfast. Rooms were way nicer too. My biggest issue is the parking. Like these big companies don’t make enough. They have to nickel and dime you. Reminds me of when the airlines started charging you for your carry on. Just have to squeeze every dollar they can out of you. Next time I’m in the area I’ll be staying in Woodstock at the Holiday inn that doesn’t charge for parking.
