I STRONGLY suggest you call ahead to ensure their major remodeling (Construction) is completed or be willing to put up with the related issues. For us, the elevator was out and there was no additional staff to assist with luggage to the 3rd floor. There is very limited parking & hotel door access, and construction debris everywhere. The construction noises start at 8AM. There were numerous instances of poor fit & finish after room remodeling. Many "kinks" left to discover and sort out. The breakfast attendant was entertaining and excellent. Quite recent (November) increase to $150 pet fee during booking, still advertised as $75.

This was hands down the best hotel stay we have ever had. Vincent was assisting us at breakfast and he was the best! He helped grab what ever was needed. He really cared for and assisted my two boys! I can not recommended this for your stay more!

I love this place. I was in Savannah at first but once I realized how much driving my friend was doing coming up every day we hung out, I relocated to Hinesville. The Hampton Inn felt brand-new. It was well-lit in the halls, something I appreciated as a woman traveling solo, and having left a dimly-lit older hotel in the city. The room was cheerful, spacious, and clean. The bathroom was large with lots of counter space for toiletries and curling iron, etc. The hair dryer was clean and seemed new. Lots of towels. There were 3 trashcans in the bathroom, desk area, and near the storage. Clothing storage is minimal, but adequate for me. No dresser but there are two cubbies next to the closet (very small, 3-4 hanger but ok for me) one drawer, and they can easily add a few cubbies if they choose to. The closet has a few peg hooks that also appear new, and there are more peg hooks along the wall. I loved this - perfect for my purse, a laundry bag, and my baseball cap for quickly running downstairs for coffee. They have recycling bins at the elevators - LOVED this, too. Everything is clean. Breakfast was good - choices galore from grits with toppings available, eggs, baked goods, cereal, one morning was biscuits and gravy, too. Dennis, who works breakfast, was super friendly. It was pretty noisy staying on the second floor facing the busy road but I still slept fine and it's not like I was there during the day. The construction noise didn't even bother me - they started at a reasonable hour and stopped fairly early as well. Panera is practically in their parking lot, they have warm cookies in the afternoon plus free wine and chips.Overall, this place saved my stay after the semi-grungy hotel I unfortunately stayed at in Savannah. I'd happily stay there again. I suggest the hotel provide DirecTV instructions for those who aren't used to it. The man at the desk had to come help me, but it was really nice having it.
