The hotel was rundown, disgusting, with mold in the shower, peeling wallpaper, and stained sheets. Most of the staff was incredibly rude. Despite repeated requests, our room was not once cleaned in three days. I saw a cockroach. Truly an unpleasant experience and waste of money.

If we hadn’t traveled all day and been exhausted on Christmas Day, we would have left. Security issue with the back door being partially open, filthy carpeting, mold in the shower, to mention just a few problems.

While the guest rooms are a bit dated, it does appear the hotel is actively renovating from the ground floor up. The lobby is absolutely beautiful, and the pool and fire pit area are cozy, clean, and very well maintained. The manager’s reception on Wednesday night was especially welcoming—it truly felt like being with family. Due to an unexpected delivery issue, the breakfast offering was fairly sparse, but that small inconvenience was completely overshadowed by the exceptional service. By far, the most outstanding part of our stay was the hotel manager and her entire team. Every single staff member went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and genuinely welcomed. Their kindness, professionalism, and warmth made all the difference. Even as we left, one of the cleaning staff came out to the car to wish us safe travels 🥹 Thank you to the entire Homewood Suites team for making our stay so special—we truly felt at home!
