    Unfortunately, we did have a comfortable stay here. We were there for the weekend to spend with our son who just graduated Army basic training at nearby Fort Benning. Besides enjoying time with each other, the rest of our good times were off site. We arrived to a room with a broken bathroom door lock, missing blanket for the sofa bed, no soap for the bathroom, and negative energy/attitude from breakfast staff who seemingly hate their job. Despite not complaining to front desk at all, this last gripe is why I decided to leave review. I asked for a late checkout which would elongate checkout from 12p to 2p. I was told, after being transferred to mgr that they could not accommodate the request unless I paid for another day. Then they told me it would be a charge of $137 for the extra two hours. Despite my disappointment I agreed to the charge. However, the next day after I checked out they sent me the bill and charged me $191 instead of their quoted $137 for the two extra hours. Therefore, I called and spoke with a manager, who stated that she doesn’t know where I got that quoted amount from and it should’ve only been $75 to allow me to stay for the late checkout. Obviously her staff has poor communication with her and she still decided to charge me full price because she says I should’ve stopped at the desk and checked out in person and let them know that I was physically checking out of the hotel, despite telling them I was leaving at 2 PM on my checkout day when calling from the room phone. This is now behind us and we will never stay there again. I’m confident of that. The manager and the staff there need to be reminded that it cost nothing to be kind to people, and communication is key. I will say one positive note, there was a gentleman who worked there and seemed to bust his tail every day, mopping, and cleaning up the hotel. He deserves a raise.

    The rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. The staff was very helpful at all times. My friend is a Blind Veteran with an extended stay here. They are very accommodating with him. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Thank you all for making his stay comfortable.

    What a great and clean place. Staff is great. Place is dog friendly. Place is in a great area too. Hotel room is super large too. Definitely worth it.

    Only thing not perfect was the soap in the shower was empty and had to use the little soap from sink.
