    I would give zero stars if I could. Our recent experience at Home2 Suites by Hilton was nothing short of disappointing. After a long drive from Florida, all we needed was a clean and comfortable place to rest for a few hours, but what we found was appalling. Upon entering our room, we were hit by a musty odor reminiscent of a nursing home. The cleanliness was shocking; there was hair and trash in the bathroom, and the light switches were incredibly sticky and visibly dirty, with one missing its cover entirely. The controls for the blinds were in the same sorry state, dirty and sticky, and one was even broken. The transition from the living room to the bedroom had an entire rectangle of carpet literally cut out, leaving padding and concrete exposed. It was clear that the room hadn’t been properly maintained, with a missing picture that should have adorned the dining area and a dishwasher exterior that was visibly grimy. My husband brought these issues to the attention of the sweet girl at the front desk because we did not want to be held responsible for the room's poor condition. Her exact response was, “he must not have cleaned up after himself,” leaving us to wonder if someone had been living in our room long-term. This experience left us feeling uncomfortable, like we couldn't even take our shoes off. For a Hilton property, we expected much better, especially given the price we paid for just a few hours of sleep. We were genuinely disappointed and would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay.

    The room I was in was not clean and had a bug in it. The staff was kind enough to switch our room. If I did not prepay I would have moved hotels.

    This place has had horrible reviews lately. I called and asked before I made the reservation for this week. I specifically asked about bugs and the pool. The person who answered advised that they have a new district manager and they have set things straight. I can honestly tell you from my stay that everything is back to the high Hilton standard again! Absolutely spotless in the room and the pool was clean and perfect at 86°. Breakfast was wonderful! Many different items I had never seen at a Home2 suites breakfast before. I stay mostly at Home2 suites because they are just like being home. Definitely put this one back on your list of places to stay. Hats off to the district manager, and the people working here, who have improved this location. 👍
