Dirty floors, dirty carpets, dirty sticky elevator, we had holes in our cover.i didn’t even go to management as another customer was complaining and she looked like she don’t care! Looks like they need new management

Even though my stay was short, everything was great. The check-in was quick, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful. It had everything I needed for a quick trip, and I’d definitely stay here again. Would recommend!

My Family reserved this hotel during 1st week of December in 2025 for my Kid's soccer tournament. After 9 hours of busy driving from NC & soccer game, when we checked in the room late night, it was full of lady bugs, floor, wall, ceiling everywhere, there were lots of lady bugs. Bugs were also on the bed.
When reported to front desk, they were very casual about it, we were told this area has lady bugs problem, so there will be lady bugs in your room. There was no, expression of apology or willingness to help in the situation, initially.
After some debate, someone else from their team came & told us, when customer checks in the room ,staff shows a flyer at the desk declaring this area has lady bug issue so room may have lady bugs. Which was never informed to us.
This was absolutely unethical & deceiving business practice. If the management knew the issue in the area, they should have declared on their website, why to inform customers at last minute?.When I booked, hotel's website, Hilton did not inform me or mentiones it anywhere otherwise I could have made my decision accordingly.
This hotel management knew very well, most customers arrive after long commute & they are tired when they check in & if they inform them at last moment, customers will not have any options but to check in.
My family had to change the hotel at 11.00 p.m. late night to near by Fairfield ( I thank the lady at front desk who helped us in getting the hotel)& they did not have lady bugs issue in the room. This affectedes my Son next day morning Soccer tournament game.
When I choose Hilton brand, I expect some benchmark quality from management but in this case, I felt like , I am dealing with road side cheap motel.
This was absolutely low level of business ethics. I should mention that I reserved with high price/night for the room than it's average rate due to big soccer tournament in the area.

I would give zero stars if I could. Our recent experience at Home2 Suites by Hilton was nothing short of disappointing. After a long drive from Florida, all we needed was a clean and comfortable place to rest for a few hours, but what we found was appalling.
Upon entering our room, we were hit by a musty odor reminiscent of a nursing home. The cleanliness was shocking; there was hair and trash in the bathroom, and the light switches were incredibly sticky and visibly dirty, with one missing its cover entirely. The controls for the blinds were in the same sorry state, dirty and sticky, and one was even broken.
The transition from the living room to the bedroom had an entire rectangle of carpet literally cut out, leaving padding and concrete exposed. It was clear that the room hadn’t been properly maintained, with a missing picture that should have adorned the dining area and a dishwasher exterior that was visibly grimy.
My husband brought these issues to the attention of the sweet girl at the front desk because we did not want to be held responsible for the room's poor condition. Her exact response was, “he must not have cleaned up after himself,” leaving us to wonder if someone had been living in our room long-term.
This experience left us feeling uncomfortable, like we couldn't even take our shoes off. For a Hilton property, we expected much better, especially given the price we paid for just a few hours of sleep. We were genuinely disappointed and would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a pleasant stay.
