    Was dropped off while my wife took kids to check in for sports tourney. My phone died before I could use the app digital key. I asked the front desk if I could charge the phone for 5 minutes so that I could check in. Receptionist said I have a cord but I’m about to charge my phone. She then went to the manager and returning stating that all they had were personal chargers and I could not use it. I was even going to give them my phone so they knew I couldn’t run off with their cord. Walked to gas station and bought an overpriced cord so that my kids could get checked in and didn’t have to come back for me. Moved reservation to Cartersville, well worth the 10 minute drive to avoid such awful customer service. So much for the golden rule at this place. Lifetime diamond member which they didn’t care about. Not saying they ‘had to’ but what kind of miserable person won’t plug your phone up for a few minutes?!?!?

    The last time I visited this area, I stayed at the Mainstay for half the price but decided to splurge and boy was that a mistake. While the rooms might be larger here, nothing else beats Mainstay Suites. 1. This indoor pool is ice cold and not heated. 2. I paid for a king suite but got a queen suite. 3. The mini fridge didn’t have a freezer. 4. The customer service is absolutely horrendous. 5. The pull-out sofa had a huge stain by god knows what, the sheets didn’t fit it, and the entire room smelled like pee when the air conditioner ran. I wouldn’t have posted anything about my experience, but what rubbed me wrong the most was the way one of the front desk staff members treated me. She interrupted me on the phone in the breakfast area because I believe she thought I was someone loitering, who wasn’t actually staying at the hotel. If she hadn’t been hiding in the back on her phone, she would’ve seen me coming out of the elevator to begin with. On my second to last day, my key card stopped working. I had to go to the front desk and wait until a gentleman waived me over to this same woman who just stood there waiting for something to do. I told her my card wasn’t working and my room number. She asked if I was extending my stay, to which I told her no, I check out tomorrow. She then asked my room number again. It took her a second to realize she needed to reprogram my key. She was so out of it and unaware of the situation. Another night, I went to the lobby in the evening to ask for a plastic fork and the front desk agent said they had some but they were for breakfast, and refused to help me out. There is one front desk agent during my 5-night stay who was absolutely fantastic. She was working Monday 12/29 overnight. She deserves a raise for her attitude, professionalism, everything. Every time I saw her, she went above and beyond.

    I had some issues with the room this time. I have been staying here quite often waiting for my apartment to be ready. The room wasn't cleaned well. There was an issue with the microwave in the room not working. However the saving grace was the staff. Miracle lives up to her name. She made sure we had hot decaf at night, and she was always asking how she could make our stay better. She is the epitome of hospitality. Autumn is wonderful as well. She was so sweet and also made sure there was hot coffee and fun conversation. The women on the front desk make sure you are having an enjoyable stay.

    Only 4 stars because the tv in our room wasn’t working which was annoying but other than that, was very clean and the staff were kind.
