Lisa at the front desk said she couldn’t make the change but she would cancel the current reservation and I could just rebook the new date, I asked if it would be a charge she said no. We hung up and instantly I received a charge to my credit card. When I called back, she said she was mistaken that she couldn’t cancel my room without a charge. I said I’ll just take my room then I’ll come, she said to rebook the room now would be five times as much as what I had just canceled a minute before. None of this was necessary.

We were visiting chateau Elan for my birthday and decided to save some money by spending the night here instead of resort. There is a free shuttle that takes you anywhere on the property - huuuge help! But, the winery is only a 5-10 minute walk away whether you walk on the driveway or through the vines. Nancy was incredibly helpful during check in and even gave us a free bottle of Chateau Elan wine (of our choice) for my birthday! That was such a nice touch!

Front desk clerk told us, we would have to come down to lobby to warm all food up everytime. This has been a below average experience with Hampton at this location. The bathroom has a tub with shower. We wanted to go to pool....there is sign...sorry, pool is out of order, sorry for inconvenience. The breakfast was typical below average and the staff put up breakfast before end time. We came to this location to go to Chateau Elan...which sets slightly behind Hampton.
