This was the worst hotel stay. The hotel looks nice when you walk in, but the rooms and floor levels are not. The room had a kitchen with only a pot no cooking utensils, the kitchen light didn't work, the shower curtain was dirty I had to go down to the lobby and get my own towels. The valet parking is over priced and took 45 minutes to get me my car. I went in the lobby to talk to the manager the woman rudely stated that was a 3rd party. I went to ask the valet for a phone number to their corporate and they refused. I asked for the manager. The manager came out with the lady from the lobby, I told her to go back inside since this was between me and this manager and she couldn't help then she doesn't need to be out here now! Nothing was resolved of the incident and I was given a fake number to contact.

The facilities in general are okay, however, the customer service is horrible.
I left a 100 dollar deposit during the check in, and it's been over a month and I haven't received back. My bank assured the deposit has not been returned, and when I try to contact the hotel they just are giving me the runaround. Their phone number does not even work most of the time, the site staff are uncaring and rude

I believe I was fair in my rating. What can you expect from an Old hotel with a modern/new lobby. Walk in and it’s beautiful get on the floors and you will instantly become melancholy. Along with the moldy smell of the dark hallways, the rooms were about the same. I unfortunately saw baby roaches in my room which signifies an infestation. Not any response to me letting them know. The staff is doing their best with what they have (some were quite rude) but I would be too under the circumstances at this hotel. The IHG should do a complete remodel, overhaul, extermination or better yet just change it into apartments for the homeless during the winter. That’s the better idea. Great location though. Frustrating to have Only luke warm showers no hot water!

There’s no power in half of my room, I informed them early on my way to work so it could be fixed by the time I was back (late in the evening), no one came at all or contacted me so I obviously didn’t want to change rooms after a very long day of work. The AC shuts off constantly at night, I had to get up a few times to turn it on. The rooms are massive, but if there’s no power, why does it matter? Update; I had a breakfast voucher and the front desk informed my company that it ended at 10:30 but it ended at 9:30 so obviously I did not get the breakfast that was already paid for.

I almost never leave reviews but this one is important. You have to pay $35 to check in even an hour early. You have to use valet ($50), which may be common for Midtown. Breakfast, which would be hot food, was cold because of the temperature in the dining room; of and that's $17 per person. I might have been able to stomach all that if it weren't for the bed bugs. The engineer said they were roaches (which is only marginally better). Then he relented they were bed bugs. Then after he left I finally saw the roaches (the size of a silver dollar). This was a total catastrophe. Oh, another guy checked out early for the same reason. This is your only warning (don't say you haven't been warned): Run Away. Pay more for better comfort. God bless.
