    I booked a 2 night stay in September for my Birthday Staycation. I went back and forth between a couple of hotels Downtown and was extremely disappointed by choosing the Crowne Plaza. The hotel was not clean! And I did not see a cleaner the whole 2 days I was there. No fresh towels! The pictures advertised of the "rooftop pool/ fireplace sitting area" was a total scam! NOWHERE TO SIT! The coushins were missing. The chairs scattered about! Horrible! I wanted a place where I did not have to venture out and could do some reading by the poolside. The price does not reflect the experience.

    I hate I'm even having to write this review, but this hotel has to do better. I was scheduled for a four night stay (but of course I'm departing earlier than anticipated). Checked in on a Monday afternoon, following morning went to brush my teeth and wash my face. A soon as I turned the water on I notice water pouring out of the bottom of the sink. Happened to grab a face clothe and noticed a stain like lipstick on the face clothe. Immediately went to front desk and expressed the my concerns. Was told that the issues would be handled Immediately, then I went off to work. As soon as I arrived back inside of the room after work, first thing I did was turn on the water from the sink. Issue wasn't resolved. So I kindly went to front desk and requested another room. As soon as I got to my new room I turned on the sink water. Instead of the water pouring out from underneath of sink a good amount wast coming out from the handle of the hot water. Heard water trickling from tub and tried closing off the handle and found it to be as closed as it could be. Tube was filthy with stains and water looked to be mold. Carpet had stains, couch, bed sheets. Im so freaking disgusted with this place. Following morning I decided to check out. Oh, and front desk girl with the hazel eyes honestly didn't try accommodating me for my bad experience when I asked to move rooms. I actually was given a downgrade for experiencing what I experienced. Oh, I almost forgot the ice machine for the floor I was on after the accommodation was out of service.     Rough go at this place. I hope you have a lot of money and a good sense of humor for this hotel. Upon initial arrival, while my group was waiting to check in, we encounted a lovely animal friend that was climbing on the chair. Unfortunately on of my travel partners is terrified of roaches so another person promptly squashed him right there in the lobby. Went it was my turn to check in, the desk clerk apparently did not see that my room was prepaid for 2 nights. There is a $75 per night charge for incidentals that you are required to pay. As i was swiping my card for what I thought was a $150 hold, the screen flashed $458 approved. Wooo- wait? Oh I'm sorry ma'am I did not see the prepaid reservation. A charge that was supposed to be immediatley reversed took 5 days. The next morning, we discovered that each of us (group of 8) were charged another $35 for room taxes. When we disputed it, we were then was told it was for car parking (none of us had a car). There's the 2nd reversed charge.. Then we discovered on the morning of check out, everyone got charged $308 for another night. That was just the front desk issues. Now if you're still willing to brave this place, the rooms were another story. By the way, there are no mini-fridges in the rooms. Apparently you have to rent them..and the front desk did not understand the difference between a sheet and blanket when asked for a blanket. In getting to the room, there were various reports of random vomit spots throughout the elevator and hallway areas. In my room, there was no hot water either morning for a shower, the clean towels had long black hairs stuck to them, the toilet leaked with every flush, the sink did not drain, the TV did not work at all (yes I checked to make sure it was plugged in) and the balcony window was sealed shut but very poorly so cold and and noise was free to enter the room without getting charged like I did. Other rooms had similar problems with no hot water, used soap in the shower with hair wrapped all over it, water puddles in the hallway that had to be traversed, and 1 of the rooms was not cleaned at all and actually looked like a guest was still in it. This hotel is not for the faint of heart and not at all what you would expect from a Crown Plaza name.

    Horrible service! I came in to town for a business trip. I was supposed to stay at the Norcross location but this was closer to my daughter. Customer service on check out brought this rating to a zero. I am an IHG member but due to the being a business trip I booked through Amex! The lady at the front desk is just horrible and rude! I requested a late check out when I checked in but it was not added. The phone in the room did not work so I could not call the desk, I called customer service and the rep literally said you can’t walk down to the desk (seriously) when she finally connects me to the desk they tell me it will he $50 if not out the room in 30 mins. Ok forget it we’re leaving. When I check out no eye contact or anything. I ask for a bottle of water that’s behind the desk and am told that for memebers only. (Which I am) I say I am a never she replies you booked 3rd party. Ok lady bye! (Why would someone want to be a member. Now valet although the attendant when I was checking in and going in and out was great when it’s time to leave I’ve been waiting for over 30 mins with no line of people waiting due to them not giving me a ticket back after going in and out. The things I was not going to mention but now am. I’m here for business (no ironing board, no blow dryer, no working phone to request these things. I went down for breakfast day 1 ordered my son pancakes to go waited 20 mins until a manager saw me walking out and had them to me in 30 secs, but they gave him a teaspoon of syrup… I travel often and rarely give bad reviews, because I GIVE GRACE! But I have no grace for being treated like crap. I checked out at 12 noon, it is 1227 and Al still waiting in the front for my car.

    THIS HOTEL IS TRASHHHHH .. first of all the reason ppl stay here is legitimately the location . 1 : They couldn’t find our reservation .. ok 2: the staff except for the manager we’re RUDE as hell . They had someone training with no one helping her 🤨 You can tell she was clearly struggling but trying her best . 3: the hotel is DISGUSTING the sheets stained - tub brown - NO hot water . I unfortunately struggle with an auto immune disease and got sick because 1 the weather ( it was a bit chilly) but two not being able to have a hot shower . When you try to speak to the staff about it .. they’re rude .. what a surprise . On top of cold water the weather pressure trash . Drainage - trash . The woman who works in the dining hall RUDE ! The woman at the starbucks counter was great however . Again I got sick so I needed hot water for tea because if everything else is filthy I know for a fact that Keurig in the room was gross - but because I just wanted to see for myself I tested it - the water was BROWN and had mold or something 4 : the maintenance people came once in our 3 day stay .. towels were stained . Asked for hand towels she told me in spanish there weren’t any . 5 : AC filthy & old . Let off that dry heat . 6 : microwave in the little store - dirty 7 : Lights in the room didn’t even WORK This hotel needs to charge less - most of the staff need a class on customer service and I get it they’re prob fed up but maybe - just maybe if the hotel was up to pair you’d get less complaints and you’ll be LESS fed up . Location is the only reason it’s getting ANY stars and the fact that I can’t put 0 stars. The phone not that I was using it .. was filthy . Ice machines all down . Please don’t stay here unless you HAVE TO . Bring your own soap and hand towels .
