- LMLori Morgan5 days ago1.0We were truly disappointed with the cleanliness of Our Guest room. We are diamond HHonors members and usually the rooms for members are a little bit nicer. The bathroom floor was sticky upon arrival so I took one of the washcloths wet it down and cleaned the floor and the washcloth needless to say was totally black. The carpeting by the elevator was stained and the overall feeling to the hotel was that it was old and dirty. I did receive a survey after we checked out and provided the same information and the response was dear guests. We hope you will come back again soon. Totally not up to standards and I will never be back unless this hotel is renovated
- EMErin MarfongellaNov 13, 20253.0I was traveling from Kentucky to Florida and needed a place to stop. Rather than use a 3rd party booking site, I called the hotel directly (or so I thought). They charged me a ridiculous amount $193 for a double queen room, but it was late and I was tired. Upon my arrival the clerk tells me the room is only $85, and that they hadn't charged my card yet. I was exhausted so I paid it again. But they DID in fact charge my card the $193. I had to wait until morning for a manager and she informed me that if the hotel staff is busy, after 3 rings, they forward their calls to a 3rd party booking site, who I quote the manager Valerie, "the 3rd party can charge whatever they like, then they pay us". She wouldn't refund the $193 either! Poor customer service! The hotel was in dire need of a makeover and my room smelled like cigarettes, even though it was non-smoking. Never again Hampton Inn! Shady business practices for sure!
