If you value kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality, I strongly advise against booking at the Hampton Inn in Acworth, GA. My stay was unfortunately defined not by comfort or care, but by some of the worst customer service I’ve experienced in years. The assistant manager in particular was shockingly rude and unaccommodating from the start. As a guest, you expect, even in challenging situations, to be met with a willing attitude to help or at the very least, basic respect. Instead, I was met with judgment and dismissiveness that seemed personal and, frankly, uncalled for. She never once demonstrated any real interest in customer service. Rather than offering solutions or a listening ear, she seemed far more focused on making guests feel small and unwelcome. There's a difference between following policy and wielding power to belittle someone, and sadly, that's exactly what happened. It’s disheartening and disappointing when hospitality staff act without empathy, especially those in leadership positions. The book of Proverbs reminds us, “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” I wished for even a little bit of that wisdom and compassion, but left instead feeling judged and disrespected. When you’re on the road, far from home, a warm welcome and understanding spirit can make all the difference. That’s supposed to be the heart of hospitality. Unfortunately, that heart was missing here. I was very kind despite the fact. I won’t be returning, and I urge others to consider places where kindness and genuine service are a priority. We all deserve to be treated with dignity, especially when we’re guests.

Massive shoutout to the front of desk staff! Made us feel so welcomed, looked after, and gave us great recommendations for places to eat. Rooms were nice and cosy. Location is okay but only if you have access to a car. But was easy to get Ubers to the hotel.
