  We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn on Thomasville Road. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The location was very convenient, right off I-10 with easy exit and re-entry. The staff were friendly and everything in the hotel was in good working order. We especially liked the guest laundry and ice machines on each floor.

  I have mixed feelings about this stay, but overall, it was disappointing. The room itself was spacious and looked nice at first glance, but the actual comfort level was very low. The Sleep Situation: Honestl, we didn't sleep well at all. The beds were incredibly stiff, and the bedding was unpleasant—the comforter was scratchy and rough, and the sheets just felt dirty, which is never a good feeling at a hotel. To make matters worse, the bathroom faucet leaked all night. We just suffered through the dripping sound, but it definitely ruined our rest. The Bathroom: This was the one visual highlight. It looked newly renovated or installed, with a nice, clean white interior and plenty of space. The towels were also high quality and absorbent. However, housekeeping dropped the ball here too—there was no conditioner in the bathroom (the bottle was basically empty). The Tech/Service: The "convenience" features actually made things harder. I used the online check-in, but it was useless because I still had to call the front desk to get my digital keys released. That completely defeats the purpose of an online check-in. I tried using the app's chat function to resolve this, but it took an hour for anyone to reply—and that was only after I had already called to fix it myself. Location: The location is a bit hidden, but being off the freeway made it convenient enough. There are plenty of food options around and parking was decent. Overall, a nice-looking bathroom can't make up for stiff beds, a dripping faucet, and "smart" features that don't work. I expected better.

  This hotel was absolutely wonderful! I've stayed at Hampton Inns before while traveling with my family, but this particular location made things extra comfortable for my friend and I. We were lucky to snag a great deal—thank the Lord! When booking, we spoke with a very helpful woman over the phone who made the process smooth. Upon arrival, Jeremy, the receptionist and assistant manager, greeted us and was phenomenal. He provided all the information we needed and patiently answered every question we had. Even though the fire pit was supposed to be off after closing, it was left on for us and other guests since it was so cold outside. As a devoted believer in the Lord, I was truly touched when Jeremy gave me a baby Jesus (after I asked a few times, lol). I usually give them out myself but didn’t have any left, so receiving one was especially meaningful to me. I highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a warm, welcoming, and comfortable place to stay—something we all want! There was a minor bit of dust under the bathroom sink for those with OCD, but overall it was a great stay! Thank you again!

  Although it's not stated on the website, this hotel is pet friendly. VERY pet friendly. Even fully dosed up on allergy medicine, we were miserable -- coughing through the night, stuffed up, etc. There were even pets sitting in the dining area during breakfast. When I asked if there were any spaces in the hotel that were pet free, I was told no. The entire place is full of allergens. The staff was very friendly but we can never stay in this hotel again. (This review left by a gold member. I'm ready to abandon the brand over this experience.)

  I’ve stayed at this hotel half a dozen times over the years with friends and family. It’s become our go to when we come to Tallahassee to go to FSU games or visiting. We’ve always had a good experience but this last time Jeffery went above and beyond for me. I was coming in late and had a discrepancy with my reservation and I never had a doubt my family including my 2 year old son would have a place to sleep that night. Jeffery figured out the issue and got me settled and even checked on me later that evening and the next day to make sure we were good. Jeffery is and was the man. Location is great. Walk right in over to Walk ons for dinner and drinks and even hit the steak and shake for that late night treat. There are always things to pick on a hotel about when you’re realistic you realize it’s about the experiences you’re having with who you are with and this place has never disappointed. Thanks again Jeffery.
