- HSHelene SpotoNov 11, 20251.0This is not like the Hampton Inns we’ve stayed in over the years. This location was a true disappointment. Yes, the location was conveniently close to I-10. Yes, the staff was very nice. However, that’s were the good news ends. Avoid room 202 at all costs. The room was dark. After taking a shower before bed, the shower head continued leaking to the point that it sounded like someone was still taking a shower! AHA! No wonder the handle was so hard to turn to initially turn on the water! This was NOT a new issue! Just FIX the shower! I could not charge my phone by the bed because the outlets were so loose, the plug kept falling out. So I had to plug my phone in across the room. The bed was lumpy. And what’s with the square bed pillows? All of the colorful window dressing (aka: newly renovated?) and decor doesn’t hide the lack of maintenance that should be done to the essential items that guests actually need! C’mon Hilton…get your act together! You’re better than this.

Their was hair on the sheets, dirt and a dead bug on the kitchenette floor. Turned the heater on on and it smelled like burnt popcorn, and It set off the smoke alarm. I turned it off and informed the front desk. I was told it was normal because it hasn't been used yet this year and that the smell is the dust burning off. They came up and sprayed some stuff in the room to help with the stink. I dont feel comfortable using a heater that hasn't been serviced or cleaned...the allergens and dust that are in it must be insane because it stunk up the entire 4th floor. I paid $260 for a night and got a dirty room with no heat. Also you can hear lots of noise from the road. Dont waste your money.
- BWBelinda WOct 31, 20252.0The location and staff at check-in was nice but the good stops there. If you want an extremely HARD and squeaky bed, you need to stay in room 426. We were miserable, if not for the cold front we are dealing with, I would have went to the car and slept, seriously!! I was looking forward to a good night sleep but that did not happen. Spoke with front desk when I checked out and was told the rooms and beds were new. NO WAY this is true. That bed and frame need to be taken to the dumpster. I cannot wait to get to Doubletree in Orlando ( I have stayed here quite a few times) to take a long nap due to no sleep last night!!!
