Good location next to the sawagrass mall and free parking. The free cookies were good. The bed was really confortable. And that s it! The rest of the room was dirty, stained and outdaded. The breakfast buffet wasn't that great and the restaurant was so dark and ugly. Very outdaded style from the early 2000. This hotel needs a complete renovation and rooms should be cleaned. I did show the photos to the people at the check inn counter. No discount was offered. I would not recommend staying there. Way too expensive for that type of room.

As an avid traveler, I’ve stayed in many hotels and I must say this DoubleTree disappointed me. The beds are old and worn out, the carpets are dirty, the hallways have a dirty/dingy smell to them and the bathroom wasn’t properly stocked. I am a Hilton member but found my rate to be cheaper using my Hotels.com platinum level membership which isn’t a big deal but I found it weird to put two bottles of warm water on our room desk with a sign that says unless you’re a leveled up member with Hilton the warm water is $3/bottle. They did however give us two free cookies upon check-in that were actually good and fresh. The real issue in my opinion however was the customer service, or lack thereof. I used UberEats to get food after the Hockey Game and it was promptly delivered to my unit door without issue. The next morning I ordered Starbucks and Dunkin at the same time. The Starbucks driver arrived first and informed me the front desk wouldn’t allow them up. When I pushed back to the driver the front desk agent called up and said they’re not allowed up. After hanging up this call with the front desk, two minutes later there’s a knock at my door.. Surprise surprise, it’s my Dunkin! We were heading down to check out at this point so when the gentleman at the front desk asked how our stay was we mentioned the annoyance with the delivery policy and how two of three orders made it up but somehow not the Starbucks. While speaking with the guy an older blonde employee interjects herself into the conversation and immediately badgers my partner and I about how that’s possible we got two deliveries to the room and who let that happen? Taken aback by her demeanor we informed her we have no idea as we were in our room. She goes on to ask what time and who was working, who did they speak with, etc.. instead of apologizing for the inconsistency, she made it worse in my opinion. To prevent things from further escalating we just said have a nice day and walked away. Either way you look at this, there’s a problem. If you agree with their policy then you see fault in their security as two different drivers, on two separate days, made it onto a private floor using their elevator system. This essentially means anyone could walk in off the street and show up at your room door. Alternatively, you think this policy is as foolish as I do and that they have no real routine implemented to ensure consistency on the day-to-day operation. I’d definitely consider revamping your management staff in place to ensure better safety, security and a higher level of cleanliness for all guests who trust in the Hilton brand.

The rooms are outdated and disappointing for a double tree. Worse than the outdated room however, was the poor customer service and attitude of the staff. If you express a concern during your stay, be prepared to encounter dismissive, combative and argumentative communication in response.

Not only was room fee high and floor was noisy (loud people, doors slamming, ice machine, strange whirling noises all night, etc.) they upcharged us for 2 bottled waters we didn't drink, the maid service was poor, and even a maid who saw us exit our room wouldn't help us retrieve an item we had left in room. Had to call front desk. Stay elsewhere.

After decades of Hilton properties this was bottom shelf. A quick check in, enter my room and a strong odour makes me sneeze, go to the restroom for a tissue from the rusty dispenser, no tissue. I ask the lady cleaning the room next door, she says they’re out of tissues. $200 a night and no tissues? The room was very dated, worn carpet and just not what is typically expected as a Hilton customer. In the morning the sunlight hit the headboard and my wife was disturbed, handprints on the headboard from a previous guests “activities “. As we left the hotel in the morning we got 2 coffees from the Starbucks, $11 and they were barely warm. Terrible.
