Place was clean, well lit, and comfortable. Has a lobby bar, coffee in the morning and a buffet restaurant. Rooms are decent size, beds could be better but aren't uncomfortable. Had to really crank the AC down at night or it got too hot to sleep. Close to a trolly stop and a few food options. Definitely better to be outside of the main historic area.

We booked this DoubleTree for our 35th Anniversary, expecting a great experience worthy of the brand and the price. Unfortunately, it fell far short.
We stayed in November 2025 for the Night of Lights. The room itself was average, but the carpet and bathroom clearly needed deep cleaning, especially the shower. The towels were stained and should have been bleached or replaced entirely.
We also paid extra for breakfast and parking, and both turned out to be mistakes. Breakfast was disappointing: the “fresh fruit” was so old it was wilted, and the scrambled eggs looked (and tasted) like they’d been cooked in motor oil. For the rest of the week, our breakfast vouchers went toward juice and coffee only.
In the evenings, after walking the town, we usually enjoy a light snack and a drink. Multiple nights they were out of fries, and when we asked for macaroni and cheese instead, we were told it was “kids menu only.” If you want coffee or hot chocolate at night, plan to bring your own.
Parking was the biggest frustration. We paid for parking and were given a hangtag, but during Night of Lights the lot was full every evening, most cars didn’t even have tags. One day we heard the manager tell someone they could park there without a tag as long as it wasn’t overnight. That would have been helpful to know before we paid for the add-on.
To be fair, the staff were consistently polite, but it was clear they weren’t empowered to fix these issues.
Overall, this stay did not meet the quality or value we expected for such a special occasion.

False advertising! This is a two star hotel at best ! My husband and I were traveling for business and thought the location of this hotel was perfect. And it was based on our needs ! That’s the best thing I can say about the stay
The front desk people were rude and very blue collar. This was not the type of staff that I usually encounter from a doubletree Hilton hotel. Marcia was at the front desk and she had a scowl on her face constantly. It felt almost uncomfortable to approach her to ask a question and I am the guest !
The rooms are worn and it shows ! The staff is disinterested in helping and quite rude
I’m highly disappointed
I should have read all of the reviews before booking so I hope you do your due diligence before booking this hotel

Friendly staff. No microwave in room and fridge had no freezer. There was no hot water at 11pm. Maid came in and changed towels and empty garbage but didn't make bed. We were surprised to know you had to pay to park even if you're handicapped.

Stayed here with a large group recently. The staff was incredibly easy to work with and very accommodating to my group's needs. They offered personalized assurance when needed. The on-site restaurant and bar was convenient and met the needs of my group. Overall, a positive experience. Will be back soon!
