I love this place. It will be a special place for me, because I got engaged at the pier where you can feed the ducks and turtles.
Also, the places to walk is always amazing for me. We get to see all kind of nature doing its thing. I've seen butterflies, eagles, other birds I don't know about, and a bunny. A few times, we got to see thr birds successfully catch fish and everything it was awesome!
Thanks for the cookies, tea and coffee!

This Resort is a wonderful location, especially if you're a golfer, but it's also close to St. Augustine and all of its interesting places to visit and experience. Check in here was so helpful and friendly. Our accommodations were spotlessly clean. I had stayed here about 10 years ago but it has definitely been upgraded by Hilton.
The pool area is very laid-back with a wonderful hot tub. There's even a hammock if you want to just swing in the breeze. There's a lovely place to feed the geese or turtles while enjoying the view of the lake. I don't play golf, but I saw multiple people carrying their golf clubs from their rooms to start playing on the beautiful golf course.
This Resort is only a couple of minutes off of i-95, and having a Buc-Ee's also at that exit, makes this one of the most advantageous place to stop. Take a week and relax here and you will feel like home along with all the amenities! Also, if you are traveling into Florida or if you've been staying in lower Florida and just want a lovely place to stop for a couple of nights on your way north, this is the place to stay.
I do want to mention that a worker named "Mary Ann" working at the front desk helps me tremendously by printing a document I needed printed. An individual at the coffee machine stated to her from across the room that the coffee cups did not have tops. She immediately was so happy and helpful and restocked it before getting back to her busy job that she was doing when I arrived. She was so friendly and I must mention her. Thank you for your helpfulness. Mary Ann!
All in all this is a stop. I will be making a lot in the future. Two big thumbs up here! šš

Overall a great resort. Kept us up to do date on all of the daily activities via text as well as any problems with the report such as pool and spa heater not working. The room was a little smaller than I expected but still very nice. There is a lot to do on the property itself from golf to ping ping even has a couple of lakes you can fish in or if you are like us, feed the box turtles.

In September my husband and I agreed to have our owners update being that we are already Owners and have been for many years. We struggle with that being that it was our wedding anniversary celebration and we chose Saint Augustine as the location. We really did not want to interrupt that with Business but knew the importance of any changes that was being made and being aware of such.
Our overall celebration was absolutely beautiful and the quality of service and attention to detail from the front desk and concierge desk was awesome. We were well pleased with that. The amenities at the resort were perfect, clean and accommodating.
It was almost a perfect celebration except for when we decided to do our owners update. The representative that did the presentation for the owners updates did a phenomenal job. Unfortunately, his overseer and/or boss or whomever he was by the name of Dan tainted the whole presentation.
After saying no at least 5 times not at this time, this is not a time for us to make any upgrades or changes or increases ā¦.after coming back to us with this and that and after about the 5th time and looking at Dan,
who was not the original presenter. We said to him we will not be making any changes perhaps in the near future before the year is out but not today ā¦.it is not going to happen today. We had to say it like that because we were already at the 5th No! He then sat there snarling and gritting his teeth and and his lip was even shaking.
He showed extreme anger literally sitting there throwing a whole temper tantrum and very unprofessionally got up abruptly, bumped the chair out of the way very aggressively and stormed off so very unprofessional. We looked at the presenter who was assigned to us and he was sitting there in disbelief and uncomfortable not knowing what to do. I even looked at the presenter and said I donāt appreciate this and Iām done!
I got up and I told my husband I will be outside and I walked out the presentation. My husband was also and closed it out.
Dan reaction of unprofessionalism let me know that he was commission money hungry for a sale at all cost and that he was willing to mistreat people who came in there on their own time. We did not have to agreed to do this update especially on an Anniversary celebration but because Hilton is taking over Bluegreen we saw it to be necessary and handle business up front and be in the know!
We ended up being mistreated !!!
All because we didnāt do what Dan asked us to do or he was not able to persuade us. If he cannot handle a NO then that is not the line of work he should be in.
We most definitely did not appreciate or deserve the stair down that he sat there and did glaring, snarling teeth clutched together in the whole dramatic get up and walk out and leave.
However, when he first interrupted the first 10 minutes of the presenter Dan was talking to us nicely and he complimented us on our matching color coordination and attire and all of that and appear to be nice at first, but turned into this ugly monster when he didnāt get what he wanted at the end. He is obviously not mature enough to handle the position that he holds.
He most certainly did not represent the company well at all or the Owner(s)
Although we chose not to make any changes or upgrades, we were well pleased with the presenter how he not only presenting information but answer all of our questions and even gave us some knowledge about some things that we were not aware of based on his experience. So with that being said Dan is the component to tainting that whole day basically. It took a while for us to shake that off because that was totally unnecessary and unappreciated and disrespectful.
My husband was equally upset and express that to the presenter who like I said sat there at first in shockā¦
I donāt remember the presenter name but the Jerk who ruined it all name was Dan!
