- TTTheTallFoodieNov 17, 20254.0I stayed at the Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park while on vacation in Florida and it was a strong four star experience. Dominique checked me in and he was professional, friendly and welcoming. Right by the front desk there’s a Starbucks that has pretty much everything. Just note that they don’t take the Starbucks app and there’s a 15 percent service fee, which seems to be a St. Pete thing. Grab the cookies though, they’re crazy good. I was able to check in a few hours early which was a nice surprise. The hotel is clean, bright and spacious. My room had a comfortable king bed, a good sized balcony and great views from room 806. The pool area was another highlight. Big, clean and the hot tub was on point. It was quiet during this time of year which made it even better. A few things knocked it down a star. My room floor had some stains, there was no fridge, and as someone who is 6’7”, both the balcony door and the main door were low enough for me to almost bump my head a few times. Also, the walking paths around the lake were closed for renovation, which was disappointing since it looked like a nice area to explore. All that said, I’d still stay here again. It’s a solid hotel with great staff and a relaxing vibe.

I was in Saint Pete this past weekend and needed a hotel room for overnight with handicap amenities. The service I got from Angelique at the front desk was some of the best I’ve ever had! Even when I was a high elite Hilton honors member. She made my quick stay for memorial service for a dear friend, actually enjoyable. I have MS and have to use a walker to get around. She made special accommodations for me and deserves A special thank you!
