Very happy with everything about this hotel except having to pay for parking. Location was perfect, our room was top shelf with a great view of the beach. Complimentary breakfast was good and the area was clean and well stocked. I do think that having booked a beach view room with a balcony which is one of the higher priced rooms I should not have to pay for parking especially as I am handicapped (which spaces were very limited). Other than that, I would definitely stay here again.

We booked a last minute stay from 11/6 through 11/11 due to its decent Google reviews and location. It didn't disappoint! Employees were friendly, especially the front desk (they made sure to greet everybody walking by) and the one taking care of the breakfast area. Our room was clean and enjoyable, and the breakfast options were great. The path to the beach was nice and clean. We have recommended this hotel to others and will want to stay there again the next time we'll visit the area.

The access to the beach is fantastic, the service is pretty good. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the breakfast was. But the beds. I have slept on better cots at boyscout camp than these beds. They are someone the tightest springs with nothing but a layer of cloth between them and you. One of the worst night of sleep in a long time.

I've stayed here regularly for 19 years now. My family has booked two week-long stays this year alone. I was very disappointed to see that they have begun to charge for daily parking this summer. Their explanation was that "the other places around here charge for parking." I can't think of a worse reason for adding this surcharge. My family has always chosen this site because it's NOT the other places. Now, if I'm going to be nickel-and-dimed anyway, why would I not choose the newer resort with better amenities up the block? Additionally, I booked my elderly parents a King ocean front room and received a congratulations email promising an upgrade upon check-in, due to my Gold status. They were put in the exact same normal King ocean front room I paid for and when they asked about the upgrade we were promised, were told that WAS the upgrade. So getting what I already paid for is considered an upgrade now? Or was staff just blowing off some older country people who they didn't think would know better? Keeping your word about the upgrade would have been a nice touch since they were celebrating their 61st anniversary. Otherwise, both 2025 stays were otherwise fine. Alicia, who handles breakfast, is a gem.

We stayed for 5 nights and had a great time. Check-in was smooth and Vanessa was an absolute pleasure to chat with (fellow zodiac sign!) Abigail was also very friendly and helpful with all questions and check-out; genuinely gracious service from them both. Any questions sent through the app/chat were answered promptly. The location is very convenient: right on the beach (small walk down a boardwalk), and there are several restaurants in walking distance. It’s a pet friendly hotel, which suited us and our cat. Very little pet noise, zero pet mess. The property is well maintained and there are constantly employees cleaning, working on maintenance and just upkeep in general. Breakfast was plentiful every morning; standard Hampton style: eggs, sausage, bakery, make-your-own-waffles (my kids’ favorite). The employees attending breakfast were friendly and on top of keeping the area well stocked and tidy. The pool and hot tub area are well kept, bathrooms very clean! The hot tub was nice and hot, and the pool was what you’d expect from an outdoor pool in October; probably not heated, but not too cold for the kids. Lots of morning sun, but also nice and shaded by late afternoon. I also always appreciate when they make umbrellas available for the tables poolside. The rooms were good; balconies were large and gave us a wonderful place to relax and watch the sunrise. The air unit on the balcony above us was leaking so water dripped onto ours, but it was minimal and caused no problems. Our balcony stayed dry and our air kept the room nice and cool. Great shades to keep the sun out if sunrise isn’t your thing. I do wish the bed frames weren’t as shaky and noisy; the mattresses and pillows were very comfortable and a nice medium firm. We slept very well the entire time, until the last night. The doors between adjoining rooms don’t seem to seal very well, and so there was quite a bit of noise coming through (mainly just TV and coughing), as well as the smell of cigarette smoke. (I understand the hotel is not responsible for guests breaking the rules.) Next time I will ask for a room that doesn’t have that (still very convenient) feature. The carpet is a bit old, but come on, you’re at the beach! Parking is $15/day. We made a trip to Ocean Breeze for beach towels and boards, and then we didn’t have to move our car at all. There is no laundry on site for guests to use- you can go across the street to the Hilton Garden Inn. Overall this is a great place to stay. We will absolutely book here again.
