It seems that the Hotel owners are deviating from the convenience that Hilton put in place with the use of the mobile app. Check in, Check out, use of the electronic key, without having to consult the front desk unless it was necessary. This has with my last (2) stays with the Hilton. At this Homewood Suites location and the Hampton Inn across the street. I feel that this is happening, because the owners do not want to pay any extra fees that may apply for the convenience’s. Even with using tap feature to pay at the front desk. The owners want you to insert your card. The tap feature was put in place to provide an extra level of security. Additionally extra hold fees being applied is ridiculous! If I am able to reserve my room via my Hilton app, in which my payment information is available, it’s because Hilton allows me to. Owners within the franchise should to able to supersede this! I will be contacting Hilton to file a complaint.

Worst Hampton Inn I've seen. first of all the night auditor did not tell me my reservation have been canceled that my company had made for me, I was paying for 1 night, they were to pay for 6 more. second of all the room air conditioner fan was almost non-existent, the cartridge for the coffee maker had not been cleaned and was supposed to be in a sealed package but wasn't there was a yellow rim in the toilet bowl there was nowhere to hang a hand towel and only one hook in the bathroom it was also no hand soap and the bed was hard you can't adjust the temperature of the water in the shower with it dumping into the tub and had to turn it up to the shower head to get a proper feel of the temperature which would take two attempts to do, and the housekeeper stole one of my snack cakes . she wasn't even supposed to be in there I had the do not disturb sign out. when checking out there was nobody at the desk and I could not get anybody to come to it
