Worst service ever. Waited 2 hours AFTER check in to get out room and no one even apologized for the wait. Ni supervisor, no empathy at all with elderly guests. Out of 6 guests only two got shuttle vouchers as compensation. Front desk employees did little to nothing to provide good customer service. Never coming back and will make sure to tell all the people i know to choose OTHER BETTER hotels near port and airport.

One star because this hotel is not guaranteed to be accessible by car, and because despite knowing this, the front desk doesn’t offer any information on how to get there or warnings about road closures. We attempted to arrive via A1A from the north but when we got to within about a mile, police turned us around. We then attempted to approach from the west a few times but time and again were turned around by police. We attempted to approach from the south and had the same result. We called and texted with the front desk, but they gaslit us telling us to just tell the police we need to get to the hotel and the roads will open any minute. The police shouted at us and turned us around every time and told us there will be no access for hours. After 90 minutes of this, and through gridlocked traffic, we finally gave up and scrambled to find a place to stay in Boca. Don’t bother with booking here unless you’re arriving by boat, helicopter, or foot. In a car, there is no access.

The location is beautiful and close to pier and restaurants. Walk to anything. The staff was friendly and most staff was helpful. However, the rooms were dated, we had to switch rooms in the middle of our stay to the room next door-not sure why. The first room had the additional safety latch on the door, but the second room you could see it had been removed. So just deadbolt. The ac only works half the time in the first room, even after repairs. The microwave in the second room, the turntable was missing and could not heat up food without bowls tipping over. There was no replacement. Housekeeping was very attentive and serviced everyday. However I did have to point to things I needed on the cart due to language barrier. My husband utilized the breakfast in the morning, and was told by kitchen staff he was getting too much food and removed the bacon and sausage while he was there-and I watched them put it back after he walked off. Very rude. All in all, great location but would probably not stay here again unless nothing else available.

Room Smells of mold Service forgetting towels and coffee. No towels for the kitchen. Outlets in room not working Logging in everyday on network AC wet. Every day my clothes were damp when I got dressed. Shower dripping through out. No matter how tight I pushed the faucet the water dripped out all night and of course the tub is right by the bed. Refrigerator door setup wrong. The kitchen is small to begin with but then u have the doors opening on the opposite side. This is ridiculously funny. Paying for parking. This is the only hotel in the area that I know of that makes u pay for parking. Cost of room itself. I couldn’t believe what they were charging for the rooms being with all of these issues. Door sticking Having to change rooms. I moved twice only because the AC didn’t work in my first room and stunk of mold worse then my second room. Plus the doors look like they all been kicked in and roughed up. Gym area is weak. I have a better gym setup in my home. No bench no mat and barely an area to stretch. Elevator on north end doesn’t work well. If ur on 2nd floor then the elevator on the north end doesn’t work. Laundry was over charging. I did laundry the first night I was there, mind u it’s on second floor so elevator issues, but it’s card operated machines and they over charge u at first like it’s $3.50 to wash but charged my card $18 ? I didn’t get that. If u r staying just over night and are using this hotel for the port then it maybe alright for u. But if ur a travel worker like me then I advice to stay anywhere else.

Last weekend I had my wedding block at Home2 Suites in Pompano Beach and it was by far the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. When we checked in, there was an update to their key system and the keys were not working. Security had to walk all of our guests to their room to let them in. I’ve worked in hotels for 10+ years so I like to think I’m a little more understanding than most people because I’ve been in their shoes. However, knowing that we had 17 rooms in our block and then more guests who booked outside of our block, I expected a phone call prior to let me know which didn’t happen. My husband checked in and dropped his bag in the room. When we came back for him to change for our photoshoot, our keys still didn’t work. We were on a time crunch so we didn’t have time to wait for someone to come to our room and had to improvise for his outfit for our photoshoot. The next day, I saw the GM in the lobby after the power had gone out and explained our dissatisfaction. She was pleasant and apologized, when we came back that night we had some snacks and a bottle of on the rocks delivered. Honestly, it felt extremely cheap and not super thoughtful. They ran down to the grab and go station and grabbed some snacks. The prices were still on the snacks too….Most of our guests are military Amex card holders and only one person got their Hilton gold status welcome bag. Let’s fast forward to our wedding night, shall we? There was a woman on the third floor screaming and smearing feces on the hotel walls when we got back to the hotel. We had quite a few guests on the third floor. While we know this is out of the hotel’s control, not once did someone call to apologize to us. No refunds or discounts were issued. We spent $399 a night for our room and we received the service of a motel 6. The only reason I’m giving the hotel 3 stars is because some of the front desk agents were pleasant. Overall I am extremely disappointed and question if I will ever book at a Hilton again.
